Infection in my toe :)

Well just got back from the doctor, well I am still numb from the novicane, but their is so much badage on my foot, I can walk, but barely. :)

they cut the side out of mine, it sucked, I had to soak my feetlike everyday and put hydrogen peroxide and it felt funny, always always smelled... oh god the smell..

And my toes have never been the same...

Did any of you guys, when you went to the DR. get a chemical on the sides of the toe to stop the toenail from growing back on the sides? Thats what I had done and it has worked well so far.

i hate doctors!!! i perfer to do it the caveman way. let it heal on its own, and with a knife to clean it

It was cool though, they just shot me full of novicane, their were like "gonna be some cold" I was like why? Then they had this little bottle, they sprayed me foot, this stuff WAS SO COLD! I dont remember what it was but, it was a nice cool sensation. :)

the cold stuff is Co2 or is it dryice?....they used that stuff on warts to get rid of then.

my ingrown toenail never got infected...but it hur when i walked and it bled...so i just got my dads razor blade utility knife and cut abot 1/5 of my toenail off

I have seen those bottles when I used to work as a pc tech for a medical provider. Me and a coworker convinced another coworker that the container that contained the liquid was used to carry male specimen. Man I miss working for a med provider!

I busted my toe yesterday. It got stepped on playing floor hockey. I didn't look at it till this morning. The nail was all purple. I decided to perform surgery on myself. I stuck a pin under my nail untill I hit the blood spot. Then all the blood came out and it didn't hurt anymore.

My left big toe had an ingrown infected toenail. I take my cleat off during football practice and show coach it and he squeezes the pus out right there......then I just knived it that night.

I played half the season with it, and it was broken the 2nd half, had to play like that. It's my unlucky toe...

Ha I have you all beat.

Ok I was like 10 and I droped a 16 pound bowling ball on my toe. My toe broke and then the toe nail fell off and grew back in grown. Well my mom messed with it for a while and eventually there was this huge pus ball at the tip that looked like snot and if you touched blood would shoot out. Utterly cool but ungodly painful. Went to the doc and they took care of it and the needles didnt hurt that bad.
