I have been a die-hard Roy fan ever since the first game I saw him in as a Canadian. Friend of mine in school told me this(*him and I have made MANY bets on my Avs, all but 1 I have won*) and I nearly broke down right there, lol.

This is a sad day for almost al NHL fans, though I'll be taking the blunt of it up here in Michigan. Almost everyone here loves those damn Wings, especially everyone in my family. But it feels good to see my Avs beat the Wings and win bets with my dad.

All in All, he will be missed, let us have a moment of silence for the great, Roy.

Ya ever hear of a guy name tretchiake? the dude who taught belfoure and hashick. Russia World team 1980 olympics. taken out in the middle of the 2nd of the Miracle on ice game for letting in one goal. man you peeps need to learn some history. But yes roy was a great goalie.
