hmmm 1980 russian team? Vladislav Tretiak. 10 world titles and like 3 gold medals? Pulled after two goals? Yeah, he was good. Definately top 10. Didn't he go 1-2-1 against esposito and an even 2-2 against dryden?

I may need to learn a bit more history, but you might want to brush up on hockey a bit.

i, and perhaps only i, am not sad to see roy go. i never much cared for the dude. he has skills, no doubt about that, but the teams he won the cup with were awesome teams. people seem to forget that he quit on montreal and demanded to be traded because the team was not as good in front of him anymore. oh well, he has many a record and regardless of how much i dislike him i cant take those away. sad day for hockey, not in my eyes.

You're telling me the 85/86 cup team was awesome?

Montreal had been thinking about trading him since 91. Even when he won the jennings, vezina, a cup and the conn smythe in between 91 and 95 montreal was still looking to trade him. Anyway, he was traded to colorado in 95/96 because tremblay didn't pull him in a 11-1 loss to detroit until after the 9th goal. You don't do that to your goalie at any level.
