pure physical strength, the hulk wins, as he gets madder he gets stronger. but superman has other abilities to fall back on. its been debated hundreds of thousands of times and hulk is generally regarded as the strongest super hero of all time. -
Superman. 'cause he has an S on his chest. Plus the hulk wears purple capris.
No I really think Superman. Sure the Hulk's strong and big andstuff, but Superman's practically invulnerable.
On top of that' Supermans way too fast for the hulk. No conest in my mind.

Im going to have to say hulk personally for the fact the madder he gets the stronger he gets and the fact about superman being faster i wouldnt put $ on that because I have yet to see superman do some of the things hulk does as in catch missiles being shot at him, slapping away bullets,etc its a hard decision but i still believe hulk would be victoriousI HATE Religion

Just because the hulk gets bigegr doesnt mean he gets quicker. Superman could fly around the hulk a thousand times in a minute! Im sure that superman would find a way to use that to his ability!Comment

I'd have to say Superman for the reasons stated above. Also I have to question the whole Justice League thing. When you have Superman why do you need anyone else? Okay Maybe Superman, Green Lantern to help out, and Wonder Woman to look hot. That is all you need! What was the deal with Aqua Man, Batman, and everyone else???? Sorry just a pet peeve I've been carrying around since childhood....

I tend to agree. Speaking of, did you see all those games recently where you got to be Superman? What a crock...If the character in the game actually lived up to the legend, there wouldn't be much gameplay, as you mentioned. On the other hand, if you made him vulnerable to the average thug on the street, (like they did) it's almost like the point of making a Superman game has been defeated... Neither. So long as Hulk and Superman make money... they cannot be killed.
Apocalypse and Cable maybe among the only ones who have a chance in killing the Hulk... Onslaught knocked the Hulk out...
The Hulk can die if separated from Bruce Banner... from the separation alone.
Doomsday vs. Savage Hulk would be an interesting cross-over match.
