We've been steadily dating for about a year now. We didn't really agree NOT to be exclusive, we just never agreed TO BE exclusive. I wasn't even assuming that we were, but for her to do something like that is an insult to me and our relationship. Her actions show that she doesn't care a whole lot about how I feel or about our relationship. We talked last night more, and I don't know where we stand at the moment. I told her I need her to show me by her actions that she cares about our relationship, so we'll see how it goes.

It seems to me that after a year, if there isn't an agreement (spoken or unspoken) to be "exclusive", there's really no reason for the relationship to continue.

about the girl from b4....well she decided to be 'together' with another guy the same guy she was holding hands with....well saterday night he was at a party and i hung out with her held her hand all night long and she sat in my lap for a good while of the night, i now see how bad she really is at being 'together' with guys, and i don't plan on stoping how i act

I'm not into the whole revenge thing. It will only make things worse. I care too much about this girl to do anything that could further jeopardize our relationship, like screwing her best friend. I'm hoping that eventually I can get over this and we'll move on but I don't want to be a hypocrite and do the same thing that I got mad at her for.

interestingly, im going through something pretty similar to this right now. but you know what im doing? getting over it. and thats what you should be doing too. there are plenty of fish in the sea, dont let losing one kill any chances with the others. and the fact that you never agreed to be exclusive always left some room for "switching" along the way. i say, dont kill yourself over it. get out there, and get her best friend pregnant. no just kidding. but seriously. i say, get over it.
