Stupid Iraqi Terrorists

Iraqi terrorists this morning claimed to capture two american service persons. The terrorists posted their IDs as proof. Turns out the two americans had lost their IDs. One is actually in a hospital in Texas recovering from an accident in Iraq!

All on CNN today.

Actualy it's a pretty smart thing to do... Imagine if those soldiers were actually MIA, those terrorists would make the government fear they ACTUALLY have the soldiers.

So the plan is basically, whatever actually happened to those guys the terrorists can actually cash in with a no-risk plan! Turns out the soldiers are safe, the terrorists didn't lose much there and the goverment either.

To get something while you have nothing that's pretty smart IMO it failed, but it didn't cost much either did it?

Well, the thing is though, they know if they got the ID's from the desert or the local Holiday Inn. It seems fairly certain that if you picked a GI's pocket 50' from his barracks then they would know the GI was in fact not captured.

Plus, you know what they say about the boy that cried wolf.

It certainly is funny though. They are not the brightest people in the world to be sure.

I swear I was compleatly or this war...but now that the fighting is over we are still lossing men. IT's GAME OVER IRAQ there is no bonus round. I think we should pull out and let them handle it, if they screw it up again, go back and kick some more butt. We actually had LESS casualties DURING the WAR then after the US declared an end to war.

Heck and one can stab someone in the back. It takes a real man to fight someone face to face.

Regime or not, Iraq is broke, Saddan anilated their resources to the point they HAVE to sell their oil to rebuild. How is a "even worse regime" going to be able to fund any sort of military? If we left Iraq now, in 10 years all of the sudden there's an even worse Saddam then we just do what we did this time. I'm just tried of hearing about these cheap shots. Seen the holy war that they got going is a cowardess war too.

And in general about pulling out of Iraq, you wonder why nobody is suggesting a full pull out becase of what COULD happen if we do.

Listen you point out things that appear to be so wrong and so obvious, but it also seems as if you don't realize that we put Sadaam in power, or half the world's dictators that have eventually turned on us. Its their country, we should butt the hell out and see what they can do on their own...if it crumbles and its a bad government once again, what did we lose? The terrorists and terrorist supporters will think they pulled one over on us and they're back in power...when we could just as easily go back in their and whipe as many as the coachroaches out as we can. Right now they're all playing hide-and-go-seek, hiding under rocks and in caves.... we're not going to get everyone of them due to this, but we should try to take out the one's with minds for themselves and not just the peons that follow that mindset because someone tells them to.

As for the oil and how convenient...have you seen what has happened to our economy? How we've been price gouged in the past by a country that we saved their oil wells, and gave them their oil back only to be lied to and have prices go astronomical...
The U.S. economy is in the crapper right now, and the US should be doing the smart thing and taking an active role in looking out for itself and not just everyone else.

4. Obesity, where has it first become an epidemic (yep America)

5. Since 1945 America has invaded Hungary, Checkoslovakia, Afganistan, North Korea, South Korea, North Vietnam, South Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Libya, Sudan, Argentina, Falklands, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq (twice), Kuwait, Iran. In the same period, the U.S. invaded Afganistan, Haiti, Panama, Grenada, Laos, Cambodia and North Korea. Some would say you have also invaded Cuba, Nicaragua, Lebanon, Somalia and the Dominican Republic, but who's counting all these 3rd world counrty's? (I smell greed for dominance over weak underdogs)

I Could Keep Going But Your Losing Interest or Quite Simply Getting Annoyed (hey don't get pissed at me, i'm just bringing it to your attention.)

now for AMERICAN CONFUSION

1. Afghanistan Attacked You. right? get your priority's straight. If it's time to invade another country invade the country who is responsible. Not Iraq.

2. What is with the American Patriotic Spirit, look i'm from Australia, I love it here but I wouldn't kill someone who says some crap about me or my counrty. (remember sticks and stones) they're only words.

3. Ok, a person with a towel on their head of a scarf over their face is not your enemy. Potentially they could be but Timothy McVeigh, Ted Bundy and Charles Manson could be too.

4. Most of the Middle East hates you, its a fact, admit it. who cares, you hate them more. They live on the other side of the world, you hate your neighbour's depending on the color of their skin (this one dosn't apply to all of you) I just know it's still VERY bad in the South.

5. You guys have too many guns and weapons. Guns are illegal in Australia unless you have a VERY strict license, and guess what we get about 7 gun deaths a day on a bad day Australia Wide. (a little less than America I would think).

6. Land of the Free? you're prisoners sourounded by four shores and a lot of hatered. Take a look around then when you have, take another look, you're not free at all.

In conclusion America should stop and think hard about their next move and not just go in for the direct kill. Think about the criminal not just the label (a terrorist is not only middle-eastern or black).

Next time you buy a car instead of spending $15,000, spend $13,000 and donate the rest to a cause, it must make you feel a little better to provide over 1 thousand poverty stricken africans with clean running water and save many lives. And if it doesn't there is nothing anyone can do for you.

and no, i'm not a terrorist, just someone who can see what's real for once.

I'll post a picture if someone can host it for me, I can't attach images on AO for some reason. The family asked if I could put his picture up in hopes of someone seeing and finding him in Iraq.
