What the Hell is up with Gas prices??

ya, northern cali gas prices are poop, cheapest stuff=1.89(which is relitivly cheap) at the cheapest station, take $75 to fill up our suburban, the funney part is that our gas guage just broke(always on empty)

The really sick thing is that gasoline is still the product that consumers expect to pay the least for.

People will happily pay more per litre/gallon for milk or even water without complaining....

True. But you don't have to go exploring for milk, it doesn't require the complex refining and distribution that gasoline does, and it's a completely renewable resource.

Considering that milk is so essential, I find it criminal that the poor can purchase sugar water "fruit drinks" and soda for cheaper than something wholesome like milk. Milk and other farm products a legally price controlled to keep them artificially high priced. The same tactics we all like to slam the OPEC countries for..

We could all cut back on our use of gasoline. Even if you insist on driving an SUV or pickup truck. Putting a bed cover on a pickup, removing unused roof racks, using road tires, etc..

No one should be in the position of cutting back on essential nutrients due to price fixing.

Well the prices suck, but considering 3 gallons of gas can last me for two weeks (motorcycle), I'm really not in a position to complain.

Actually if you lived in Phoenix you would be singing a different tune. There was/is a gas crisis that was real. And nobody ever said it was the consumer's fault, we are just the ones who have to suffer. Sure the industry is money hungry, but their definately was a legitimate problem over in AZ.

true... that is why i like my bike also..... only thing is i usally end up going through at least 1 tank a day.... i'm on that ride 1000miles if not more a week plan..... drove from western, ma up to portland maine this past weekend..... a couple weeks before that was W, MA to NY NY to goto KFC for lunch then head back......

my current bike i have had for about 2 months and put just about 10k on it already

The Mobil in Collingswood on Route 130 was $1.59 a gallon for unleaded!!!

Still too high!

I seen one today where the expensive stuff was 2.99 and the cheapest was 2.79.
