Just for fun here, why don't you like our(canada's) government?

I believe that Matt was pointing out that your government
occasionally dabbles in other countries lives, sometimes
to the detrement of that countries citizens.

How conveniently the world forgets every time my country has spilled the blood of it's own to keep the rest of you safe.

tell ya what, next time the world is knee deep in crap because some country decides to annex it's neighbor, don't call. deal with it yourselves.

you need the US, WAY more than we need you.

you don't like us "dabbling"? fine, don't come asking for handouts, loans, food, protection, jobs, freedom, need I go on?

I have had it up to my eyeballs with whining pissant countries that cry about my country doing what it's SUPPOSED to be doing.

Have you been listening to what Cretein has been saying about us the last couple of years?

Canada's stubborn refusal to curb illegal immigration and control the boarders is my primary bone of contention right now. What you do in your own country is of no concern of mine until it spills down here.

I also tire of folks crossing our boarder to gain access to our health system and then telling us how much better Canada's is.

Or better yet, why don't you kill yourself. No, really, die. Drop dead, don't leave a note, in fact burn your house while your little ego is stuck in a bench vice so that you'll also incenerate yourslef and everything you own with it. Because that's all you're worth. You're not even wirh thte time it'll take for the house to burn down, so just kill yourself. You're a waste of space. You are nothing, you always will be nothing. Don't leave a note, you're not worth the ink. - Tyger

and when exactly have we (Canada) asked you for ANY of
                  these things that you list?

and exactly when in any of these events that you allude
to has Canada not been there along side or first?

                  "Facts" huh

Please, Canada lives off the largesse of this country.

No where else on earth does a neighboring country enjoy the wealth and security of a neighbor the way Canada does.

EDIT was supposed to say 100 not 10. ----

Need proof? Here's a FACT for you, 90% of Canada's population lives within 100 miles from the US border.

                      Coincidence? Hardly.

I'd LOVE to see the borders of this country locked down 100% to both Mexico AND Canada. You guys don't want to crack down on illegal immigration into your country? Fine, you don't get to come into ours.

the howling could be heard all the way across Lake Ontario.

Albinonewt thank you for a rational response.

First Your leaders have occasionally said some less than
kind things about us as well.
Pease give an example of one of Cretien's offending remarks.
remember as a citizen of another country I might not have recognized the offence

How does our "illegal immigration" actually effect you?
Canadians do not admit people to, or prevent people from
going to the US, US citizens have that job.

The Health care system is a differant matter but then
we are often told by US citizens that ours is no good,
which I know from personal experience is not true.

i generally try to stay out of political conversations and such..

eh, who am I kidding, i like stepping on feet, setting fires and kicking people in the box.

anyways. that is the most unthought through comment I think i have read on any bulletin board ever

our country is SUPPOSED to be doing everything it is currently doing? i cant even begin to put my head back on straight after reading that.

listen.. i love my country.. while there are some things I dont agree with that may be done.. (it is a rarity that i disagree with anything our government does).. but if you want to make large generalizations like that..

maybe you should go live in canada.

thats the funniest thing that I have ever read, right
up there with linking birth rates in India with sidewalk
temperatures in New York City. I think you need to work
on your causal relationships a bit. (see that one rated 3!rolleyes)

largesse my backside, we have things you want, you have
things we want. it's called business, look it up, it's in the dictonary.
If not you, there is the WHOLE REST IF THE WORLD to do business with.

again what "illegal immigration" and just how does your people not doing your jobs in turn
have anything to do with us?

Where exactly did you dig up this "fact" if you don't mind telling us? That number isn't even close to correct.
