Its the same as when Newt Gingrich slandered clinton for having an affair. While he himself had a mistress. Gotta love double standards.

Kind of like how Bush was immdiately faulted for the decline in the economy when he entered office.

And kind of like seeing as the air is cleaner now than it has been in years he is discredited with that?

hmm, so if its good for Bush then he didn't do it, and if he didn't do it, but its bad and we can blame it on him, the by all means lets do.

To be honest, I have more tolerance for people's addictions when it doesn't cost the taxpayers any money. There's a big difference between a millionaire that's on a painkillers and someone that's hopped up on drugs that's in the emergency room with no insurance three times a week. My best friend's wife is a nurse at the Jersey City ER, and she sees the same druggies day in and day out.

thats beautiful, what an apt comparison.

How much money do you have to make exactly for it to be ok to be a drug addict?

who says its about money? maybe its about a man whom can contribute to society with controversial thoughts that broaden the listeners horizons.

What if he admitted he was a rapist? Would it be okay because he doesn't depend on welfare?

Thats so non sequitur i have no idea how to respond other that LOL.

$20 says Rush takes it like a man. He came out during the very last part of his segment and asked for our prayers and confessed to all of his listeners his addiction.

Lets remember to keep Rush in our prayers, because he needs them just like we all do.

Rush is no better than any addict, whether they be on the street or are filthy rich. Both support a network of illeagal drug activity and put money in the hands of drug dealers (yes, doctors can be drug dealers). What if he admitted he was a rapist? Would it be okay because he doesn't depend on welfare?

No, because that would have been a violant crime against humanity. So long as his addiction didn't involve other crimes against people I'm willing to settle for fines and community service.

Enough to not be a threat to society. If a janitor got hooked on painkillers, never stole, never rapeed, killed, or any other crime and wanted to get better and get back to work i'd have no problem with that. If a crack addict who killed three people to get his drugs wanted to get off with fines and community service I'd say no way.
Or better yet, why don't you kill yourself. No, really, die. Drop dead, don't leave a note, in fact burn your house while your little ego is stuck in a bench vice so that you'll also incenerate yourslef and everything you own with it. Because that's all you're worth. You're not even wirh thte time it'll take for the house to burn down, so just kill yourself. You're a waste of space. You are nothing, you always will be nothing. Don't leave a note, you're not worth the ink. - Tyger
