Anyone repetitively post whoring will have thier post count reset to Zero from now on

Oh well sure we occasionaly are guilty of periodicaly encouraging some extraneous posting. But its sort of like giving a kid a piece of candy and he taking the whole box. There is a time and place for it. And when we say no then we should resonably expect a response. And in this case some of them just didn't get the message. Making it resonable seems to be the difficulty we have here. I am not really all that concerned with some of it. Its normal. We all are guilty of some of it. It's the few people that just WAY over do it that have made it intolerable lately. We are just looking for "reasonable" levels of it is all.

It actually doesn't bother me too much at all. It does bother some of the members. And it appears more than it doesn't. So I take a few steps to see if we can lower it some. No real biggie.

Picture hosting? I have no idea what your talking about there. Thats not even related to this at all. We still want that for resonable use here. We having difficulting getting our ISP to reintate that for some reason. I am not certain what the status of that issue is at the moment but I know Tom is working on that. At one point I was told it was a space problem. But to me that should not be an issue. If we need some more space then what is the cost of a hard drive? they cheap! It was not our choice to discontinue that. For some reason they turned it off and I do not know why.

I do admire your comeback to whoring, but im a little scared. Ive never thought about posting just to get your count high. Im scared that if i posted somthing that i accually am interested in, my count might go back to 0. So you might hear from me asking if "such and such" is ok to be posted. For an example for me can i posted somthing like "What did you get for christmas." Once again, I commend you on your adminship.

Don't reset pyro's postcount until a year later or something. That way he'll get too discouraged to postwhore anymore. Rob did that to me and I think it worked pretty well.

I would like to know how I fall into this category. Or benifica. If you consider the (former) pie revolution to be the base of this, I'd like to know how a few of us got singled out. If not, I'd like to know what other threads I went wrong in... because honestly, I don't recall blatantly post-whoring (hell, I'm as against it as anyone here!!), and right now I feel like I'm being "punished" for something I didn't do.
