Anyone repetitively post whoring will have thier post count reset to Zero from now on

Ok all temp banned members are now returned with thier post counts zero'd out.

wow my post count went from 100-0 im really upset. and im not even sure y i was banned.

pyro deserved getting his post count nailed. but Benfica4ever never deserved that.

wow mods are turning anti-pie people and pie people into allys. woohoo i never thouht that could happen

also can someone explain to me y pie was killed. i wasnt on ao for like a week and i come back and the mods are crazy. lol jk some of it is deserved but killing pie

i guess cphil took it the wrong way. i was just saying it seems the mods are very avrigated now a days.

what the hell is avrigated? i assumed that was a typo but you've done it twice now. quit yer whining. it's a post count. the fact that you care that much about it is precisely the reason you should have it reset.

I am not judging anybody. You asked a question, and I did my best to answer it for you. At this point, you are probably going to be better served PMing CPhillip to see if you can work something out with him.

Argueing in this thread will do nothing, but entrench both sides in their public stances.

There is no constitutional right to post count. And no AO rule that says you deserve or a rule that you should recieve it. It's at our whim to take away.

And I agree with you that p8nt deserves it too. His ban came down before the order to reset post counts. And I did not ban him myself nor return him for that matter. From now on he is subject to it. Any time or place.

Mods shouldn't use the "constitutional right" argument. For good reason, you guys have to enforce some rules that may seem "unconstitutional."

So can we agree that (at least in my case) my post count was reset due to the pie issue, and NOT because of post-whoring?? I just really don't want to be seen as a whore, of ANY type...

Mabye post count should be changed to points, or something. Because as soon as you use your power to alter or change or delete the post counts, the principle of it becomes completely pointless. Your post count should be the SOLE thing that is set in stone. Everything else is variable, like what you post, name, info, all that stuff. But post count, thats like your <i>history</i>, like your <i>records</i>. Its like your age. In fact, thats very like what it is. You shouldnt go deleting people's ages. Lets rename "Posts:" to "Points:" (or stop this. I know post whoring is annoying. Yes, I get annoyed by pyro and them, but this isnt the good solution to this)

Or mabye I have a nice compromise. If you go about resetting people's post counts, offending under your new rule, mabye you should only be allowed to do this if you reset yours first. Mabye?
