Any one with Piercings? I just got one!

my partime job at country inn is the one i'm not allowed to have piercings at. And while I can take mine out for weeks without problems I was given special permission by my manager to wear it. SHE thinks I'm hot so I get whatever I want, but I'm careful not to abuse it. If I can brag for a minute, I do a VERY good job at ANY job so there's a little lee way I earn to go a little against the rules. I encourage everyone to do good and excell at their jobs. It's very rewarding in many different ways!
btw when I was 18 I was in school full time and working 4 jobs to get money to pay for my appartment car and everything else. I think your swell for the effort!!! THe worl needs more ppl with a work ethic!

oh yeah and definatly go to at least a 12... less prone to tearing... I have a 10... which as a guy I think should almost be a requirement for ANY piercing, unless your going for the girlish look.

I could be wrong, but my general feeling is that DumB_RaBBit is Bs'ing you.

A "Jacobs Ladder" is NOT a singular piercing as he says he has. And it does not deal with the urethra, or as he says "peehole". It is in fact more commonly know as a Fremum Ladder, and usually consists of three or more piercings. I have also heard of a series of deep Ampallangs or Apadravias called a Jacobs Ladder. In either case it is still more than one piercing.

People with piercings are usually more knowledgeable about what is being done to there bodies. AKA the "thing under me toungue" is called a tongue web piercing. It help his case that is profile says he is probably 16.

All of these things make me believe that his is pulling your leg.

A PA enters the urethra and exits the gland threw the bottom, or in the case of a Reverse PA through the top. While a "Jacobs Ladder" of the frenum type is a series of horizontal piercings along the frenum. Or it could be of the deep Ampallang or Apadravia type, which would be a series of horizontal or vertical piercings through the shaft itself.

Just wait till tomorow, you'll be surprised how much your tongue has swollen but it's not dangerous. Just try and keep ice on it as much as possible today. The second time around I got wise on the matter and was alot less, imparred the next day.

for the rest of you let me touch on a few misconseptions.

*Tongue piercings aren't always sexual. Take me, I'm a virgin at 24 almost 25.
*Why? Because I liked the look. Same reason why ppl wear earings, comb their hair or brush their teeth.
*I never talked with a lisp, not from day one, and mine never hits my teeth, infact that's bad for you to let it hit your teeth alot, your dentist will complain. Same with drooling... not true
*I dunno about anyone else but mine is never cold, body temp at all times.
*It's really not a big issue on your diet either. Both times I was eating Pizza the same day... only the second time around it was alot fast and bigger chuncks. Refer back to the Ice thing.

I do NOT recomend this if you have a small mouth or bad teeth. A small mouth will be more prone to bitting the jewelry while eating...it's painfull and can crack teeth. Yes, I've done it and no I didn't do it more then once.
And if you have bad teeth, well spend the money on getting them fixed first....

SWEET!! I wanted to get my toungue pierced, but where I live right now I'd only have it done at a place in St. Louis, which is four hours away...it's important to be picky with that.

I have my belly pierced and my ears. The cool thing about piercings is that you can take them out if you want, unlike a tattoo (I have two)...a lot more thought had to go into getting them. But I love my tattos and would never even want to get rid of them!!

I'm always looking for an excuse to come to STL and I'm planning on coming up there to hit some pball fields soon, I'll look ya up, and we can play some ball!

Heat, how much goes into gauging the tongue? what sort of discomfort are we talking here? is it baisically the same ordeal as having it pierced for the first time, just with less swelling?

with bars costing about 30 bux a pop, im not really into spending so much so fast.

i plan on going to my shorter bar in 8 more days, then to a 12. When i go to a 12, do i have to go long bar and short bar again?

also, what do you do to sterilize a bar that has been outta your mouth for a while? like, if there were an accident, and a ball was lost, and all i had was my old long bar to put in till i can get a new ball, what wpuld i do to sterilize it?

that snake tongue was in the nurses office.. did you read the article that was included with that?

not many certified people or whoever will even do the operation.. and doing it at home? too many infections... they had a high percent saying that would give infections...

just get your butt pierced shut like steve o j/k

acutally you shouldn't have to guage it at all up to 10g after a while the hole will open up slightly and the 12 will slide right through... same with the 10g after that I'm not sure....
The key is letting it heal first, let the swelling go all away. In your case I'd give it at least a month before trying to go bigger.
As for sterility, well I just wash the old bar with mouth rinse and put it away. It's not a big deal really, keep the balls TIGHT I woke up one day and had swallowed a whole bar... whoops.
