do some more research on the school. it is still fully operational, but they changed the name for legal purposes...to fool people like yourself into thinking it's gone (simply cuz the name changed)...

It is now called the Western Hemisphere Institue for Security Cooperation. In 2001 the chnage was made to reflect the new mission and courses offered. For example, Human Rights are now required courses there. Also students must take rule of law classes and others.
