Yeah this has been posted before ... from back when the Afghan war was still the popular line of talk on here.

thats sweet, I always get my kicks outta that stuff. I downloaded it off of Kazaa awhile ago though... I love how the gunner tries to hit the individual people with the missiles I never even thought thats what we were useing as anti-personell rounds (missiles). Just think how the people being shot at dont know that the plane is there, they cannot hear it, see it, or probably pick it up on radar. Then out of nowhere a missile hits the ground next to you... scarey

I believe that was an AC-130 Spectre gunship. It carries some miniguns, 40mm bofor cannons, and right before the hit the building they mentioned a 105mm.

The typicaly Armerment for those would be

          1 105mm Howie
          1 40mm Canon
          3 20mm Gatlin Gun

I have a couple of vids I have found, fun stuff as long as your not on the reciving end of it

And they are not trying to shoot people with the missles and cannons they are shooting thier equipment :)

At one time they were called "Puff the Magic Dragons" or something like that. More affectionately and sarcsticly than anything. My brother in law worked on those back in the early 70's and they used them some in Vietnam. I think back then he was saying they had like 50 cal's in em. I am certain its varied over time though.

All on the left ... for those not familiar all the weapons are on the left side of the plance ... which is why it flies in circular patterns around a target ...

                Sample pic ..

"Puff the Magic Dragon" was the name given to C47s fitted with a few miniguns in the side. Those were the first gunships of that type, and were used in Vietnam. The current AC130s have much heavier armament, and much more sophisticated sensors.

near the end of the video the gunner follows two different people running away from the buildings multiple times firing at them... I tried to do a play by play but my "prt scrn" key isnt working for some wierd reason. The gunner is definatley directing his attention on the people on foot with no vehicles... unless your talking about the equipment that they could be carrying (laptop, weapons) the gunner is for sure targeting individual personel:). At some times in the video, you can hear someone saying "lets go back to those guys" and the gunner moves the crosshairs to a group of 3 people huddling in some trees... almost three seconds later the entire area explodes as the rockets/missiles/whatever hit the area of where the people where located...

but then again.... thats just the way I understand it
