AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
now...johnny cash wrote the song as he has done for many artists. he had also performed it in 91, though its not on any cd i could find.
In high school music i did a 10 page essay on him...
i dont want to start a fight. NiN is a great band, and im not doubting their talent but the song was sold to them by cash...
Well seeing as you have no proof, I'm inclined to believe that Trent Reznor wrote it.
there are books saying he wrote it..i just said i couldnt find the cd it was on...if you want proof go buy as many johnny cash books as you can..if i can find my paper, ill give you my bibliography

Also, if you look in the NIN CD cover, it should give credit to Cash if he wrote it. You may have to read all the fine print, but It should be there somewhere...
Either that or on Cash's album cover.
Nine Inch Nails (trent resnor being the only definite member of the band) wrote the song Hurt, which was then covered by Johny Cash a year or so before his death.
I'am positive.
