What's your hobo solution for $80 roses?

I really don't want to pay $80 for twelve dead plants. $80 is a lot of money to a hobo.

Any really cheap ideas?

I assume you mean for Valentines Day? Vermont Teddy Bear and carnations. Although, still not cheap, the bear will last forever...or until you break her heart and she burns it:)

It's odd about not liking carnations, most chicks I know like them. Yes they are the cheap mans out for roses, but they last longer and they can dye them really cool colors:)

seriously, most girls would prefer that you spent 80 bucks on something that will last more than a week. Forget the flowers, they will be dead in a week. Find something else that will make her smile.

please note, this is from my experiences. I like my women low maintenance, YMMV.
