Thanks to the stupidty of having the government involved in health care. Medication cost are high becuase we got the government invloved. Now people want more government becuase health care costs are high. Face facts, there is no right to live. If you can't afford to live, you die. Fewer old people means less demand for drugs. Less demand means lower prices.

Good attitude. Do we live in the most civilized country or the least? Should we shrug our shoulders when we find out a kid has cancer and parents that can't afford the healthcare coverage? Are we animals or evolved human beings?

I haven't met anyone that was displeased with the Canadian health care system. I don't see the problem. I know people that have had triple bypasses or other serious surgeries(sp), and no complaints. First complaint I heard was from some one on these forums.

Sure I think it needs more funding but a socialist healthcare system and educational system are good ideas. Everyone should have the right to live and the right to an education.

I do not want to give them the health care system too! When people come to the US to PAY for healthcare they paid for in taxes something is wrong! On the education thing we have a public schooling system in the US and state universities and people that graduate cant find "REAL" jobs in their field of study and that was before 9-11! you are right sending more people to school would help that?

And candians pay stupid amounts of taxes. So does every other nation with a socialist health care system. There is also one glaring difference, in a complete opposite fasion of a business, government becomes less efficent with size. It would take 10 to 20 times the number of government workers and dollars to institute such a program in the US.

That doesn't even touch on the fact that the idea is completely wrong. Just becuase you suck in air and walk on two legs doesn't entitle you to anything. You get what you earn. You lack what you fail to earn.

I looked at the second one, the first one didnt work for me. Thats why I was commenting on how it says that so many people dislike the systeme but I haven't met any of these people. For the second part, I'd say that not everybody is intellectually suited to go to college, and there are already more going than should be going and more graduating with joke degrees that shouldn't exist and in many cases they don't deserve. For the job comment I was talking about Canada.
