That is great. The problem is more parents aren't like that. The average parent would have called 911 and prosecuted the guy for assault.

Funnily enough, I've heard this story before and the 'story' went that the kids dad was a Cop. So.. why call 911 when 911 was essentially there.

Obviously, the guys dad understood (cop or not)....

shartley yes very true. but the thing is didnt that kids father ever see those kids for pa grabing his kid?? well even though i would of jest called the police from that area in ny were he lives and report him. or i would jest ask for the man of the house than waiting for the kid. the group from pa must be some hot shots or something and i am not trying to affend anyone though but i have been around alot of 18 year olds and most of them think that there the $h!t and if this happen in my town those kids whould of been arrested. and most i know arnt. i am 14 and i sell and buy things the right way. well thats why i dont rip people off. i do my best to sell something at the best price for others and i still will deal with them if they are looking in tradeing or whatever and i also do my best buying things from people and look were i am now. i have about 22 people that i have traded with and i have 2 more comeing.

i wounder were in up-state ny that kid lives i live about 40 min. south of buffalo.

good story, i got one of my own:

about 3/1/2 years ago, i was selling an old hpa tank to some kid, well i dont remember the reason why, but i agreed to send at the same time. well, low and behold, he got the tank, but the money never came, what a surprise. i was so ticked off, i got in my car that weekend and drove 4 states down to meet this kid. when i get there, his dad answers the door, and i show him the printed pages of messages and pms we made (i think it was on pbcity), and his dad wigged on him. turns out the kid was 13 yrs old, and his dad gave me back my tank, and made the kid pay the money he said he would on it. im sure he punished the kid from there. it was a good day, if the kid was older, i would have beaten the crap out of him on top of getting my stuff back.

hate to say it, but nice guys finish last.......

                  That's awsome.
If I ever got ripped off, I would do something like that. I always had a plan in the back of my head about something like that when I buy things online, but to read about it actually happening, that's cool.

That story is awsome. I know that taking the law into your own hands is definately not the right thing to do but even if this story is only 50% true then it's still cool.

Reminds of this story I read on the Vortex (big VW site) where this guy in Washington bought a full set of mint power Recaro seats from this guy in Oregon and never got them(omiiting the names since I know a couple of the guys). Since the buyer's car was still in pieces he couldn't drive down there to try and confront the guy after the guy wouldn't answer emails and phone calls. The seller's freind's decided to step in and help the buyer out since they knew what their friend was trying to pull and wanted to teach him a little lesson. So one night they roll over to his house and jack is car up and take is full set of 15" BBS RS wheels (worth probably about twice of what the seats are worth) and leave a note saying that he's not gonna see the wheels again until he ships out the seats. So as the story went the guy that payed for the seats got got them the next day.
