Between this and the Iraqi prisoner pics, our soldiers are getting a bad image. Not that i personaly would feel sorry for some Iraqi prisoner or criminal. I think alot of this is election time muckraking, but you would think the soldiers would think twice about what they are doing in front of these cameras.

Well, they shot the windows to prevent flying shards from hurting anyone when they crushed the car and shot the tires to make the car easier to drive over. All in all, it was well executed.

As far as the punishment fitting the crime crushing a car for the theft of some wood might just be considered... extreme.

Apparently you aren't familiar with the forms of punishment a LOT of arab countries like to impose for theft....

they cut your hand off for the first offense.
