AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Consequences for stealing wood in Iraq (video clip)
how can you guys judge these soldiers if you dont even know the story? you have no idea what even happened.
and tyrion- dont even get me started on you, its great to know how well people support the soldiers and marines out there
until you guys have been out there, and whitnessed whats going on, keep your mouths shut. stupid american media never shows swarms of iraqi civilians kissing and thanking us. dont judge until you know

Yeah I can see how stacking up some naked Iraqi terrorists could compare with rocketing a car full of civilian contractors putting your country back together. Then dragging their burned bodies through the streets while hacking on them, then hanging them from a bridge while dancing around like you were at some party.
Yeah I can see the similarities there.
I could if I was a BRAIN DEAD EFFING LIBERAL.
But I guess since some of the contractors might have ties to Haliburton that makes it ok.
[QUOTE=Rooster]"The guys stole...wood. Wood. Not a freaking weapon. "
i would like to see what would happen when they stole a weapon or some thing like that

I agree with this ^^^....unless our guys start draggin Iraqi corpses through the streets tied behind Humvees and dancing a friggin jig while shooting into the air....then I have no problem with anything I have seen so far. The female troop making fun of the naked Iraqi prisoner while he was blindfolded is hardly abuse....might be distasteful...but not abuse. The guy wasn't humiliated by it...he was Blindfolded!!

Oh, yeah, because blind support of one's country is always a good thing...
Sure, alot of Iraqi civillians are thankful, but I doubt we ran over their car for stealing firewood.
I support our troops. That doesn't mean I have to support EVERY thing they do, no matter how wrong it is. That way of thinking is retarded.
Also, Facts... You sure are good at holding generalized opinions of liberals.
Tyrion... Well said.
Edit- To the person above me. So it's okay to do bad things, as long as the other side is still worse? It would be okay for us to drag their dead bodies around if they one-upped us? Smart.
Would you like your car to be run over if you stole some wood?
More importantly, would you want your life ruined if you stole some wood?
SURE, under the previous government they would have fared worse. So, the ignorant would say, "they got off better, what are they complaining about?". So, that is what the US is down to? ALMOST as bad as the previous government? Not caring about what is actually right, but if its almost as bad its ok then obviously. We are in a tough situation on relations in Iraq, and with injustice like this going on we will never be successful there.

It wasn't abuse, but it was far more than distasteful.
I find it funny how when they show US prisoners on TV, it's an outrage. When we pile naked Iraqi prisoners in pyramids, then show them all over TV and the internet, it's acceptable.
Well we are supposed to be protecting the Iraqis. So I guess we ran over their car so they could not get in a car accident. We all know cars are dangerous.
I don't think our troops should go all vigilante on the Iraqis like that. I don't really see how that action benefited the cause to rebuild Iraq. I mean, the Iraqis are out one car and the U.S. made a few more enemies. What makes it worse is the Marines were laughing at the Iraqis.
