    Here's something that has been popping up in my friends profiles, I didnt read this whole thread, don't know if its been posted yet.

        I'm well aware of that (it was mentioned in the link I posted earlier), and I didn't say otherwise. I mentioned it show that the registration you mentioned is outdated, and therefore invalid.

        Please explain how an outdated registration form he filled out twelve years ago contradicts his more recent claim that he's an independent. Voter registration does not strictly imply affiliation--I've already given you an example of that.

          In Michigan you can't register for a party, so he HAD to register without affiliation.
