AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
You folks really need to check out some Mustang forums as well as look to who is actually owning and driving the cars. I pay attention to these things and the vast majority of Mustangs I see on the road are V6 and driven by MEN. LOL
The only reason to get a V6 mustang is money. Either you can't afford the intial cost, the fuel and maintinance cost, or the insurance costs.
If that's you're cup of tea, fine. But if you're going to buy a limited usefulness image vechicle like a Mustang, and then shy away from a few extra grand for the V8. What does that say about you? :)
nice ride man. im more of a chevy guy but im not a diehard fan.

i've got a friend that has a really nice V6 stang, Dual exhaust, chip, some other mods.
its quickish. :P nothing compared to a 5.0 though
[21:00] < FunkTehChillinMunky > I've got a Warped Sportz Dark Talon
no offence, but the first mustang had a v-8 and they only got bigger until, someone decited to market the mustang mistique on a car that would have a larger "apeal" to the "average" consumer. There's a reason for everything.
btw quiz: What size motor (in ci) did the FIRST line of mustangs have, I bet 99% of AO doesn't know the answer to this....

The first year for the Mustang was 1964 1/2. I think the release was July of '64, but I could be wrong and thinking of the July release of the 1970 1/2 Camaro.

I'm curious, what do you think I'm implying? Since I know what I'm saying, and it's quite valid... And you, well I guess you read what you wanted to read.
Nice car, Scott. And putting chicks in the back seat is a mistake, I had two back there the first week I had my car, and all they did was complain about how little room there is. In the summer with the top down you can fit them better, though, I admit.
As for the V6, I really don't care :) The way I drive, I'd be half-bankrupt off gas and insurance, and I'd prolly be dead. This winter my insurance goes down, though, and I figure by 2007ish I'll get a GT or higher. Next car will have 300hp, minimum. But for now, I'll live with my car, and you can abuse it all you want, but if you think most chicks know the difference between a V6 and a V8 you are sadly mistaken.
