i thought it was self explanitory that i wanted a reliable car concidering my financial situation... and for those of you preaching that i should get a reliable car with low mileage and speed isnt the only thing to a car, i dont care, i have a reliable car right now, but its not fun!!

i know exactly where the cops hide in this town, all of the spots, and some of the roads are just roads lined solely by trees, roads that nobody drives on, so speed traps are never on these roads. my car has no acceleration, and its just plain not fun to drive (unless im beating the crap out of it, e-brake slides, reverse donuts, etc.). you guys dont understand that i like to drive, its not just to get from A to B, its fun, but i need a car that can actually accelerate at a rate higher than 0-60 in probably about 20 seconds.

i'm going to agree with pyro, get an lt1 camaro
      or
      get a g-body car

grand prix, cutlass, montecarlo ext 78-87 i love my cutlass.

you want an eclipse.... i am calling you tasteless.

if your going to get a mitsubishi and have your heart set on one, get a 3000gt or get a dodge stealth.

What year camaro does he have? Just get a differant genration, completley differant car. Or the firebird as someone mentioned. The firebird is the same thing as a camaro with a differant body although they tend to me more expensive.

1987-1993 Mustang Gt's or 5.0 LX's are hot and you could get a pretty nice one with some stuff on it for what your looking to spend. I think there hot. My 87 5.0 LX runs good and can accelerate pretty good. Just stay away from 4 banger LX's though.

i know you guys are gonna hate me for this but...

my friend built a 12 second civic for under 5000, it's one path you can take, but if you want a real car i'd suggest the camaro or a 240sx

                    .

Guess what it is going to cost you in parts if your alternator goes for say a 2000 328ci? $400. Screw that.
