I'd rather have all images removed from a persons profile, but .. avatars would be less of an evil.

If you dont like sigs, go into edit options and turn off sigs. like in life ur the one who has the problem with them, so u have to be the one to change.

i vote that we require all members to have a posting license. tests would include grammar, basic spelling, and ability to follow simple instructions. there would also be basic logic and reasoning tests such as the ability to put ideas into a proper sequence as well as form logical connections.

I think avatars are evil as well...
It makes it seem so... unprofessional. I mean almost all forums have avitars, but AO is better than that, so it kinda sets us apart from PBN and crap like that. So I vote no, no avatars. But if we did get them, I would definately have to say keep text-only sigs in posts, cause where else can we brag about our agg gats?

I vote to ban anyone who randomly spams and polutes the board with nonsence only to complain about some thing as trivial as sigs and avatars....
