AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Glickman, my dad is buying it for me, And i know cops dont really like Teens having nice knives ^ ^.... I had a couple knives this random Switchblade and this flea market one... but i ditched it when i was running from the cops last friday.. Good thing cuz they got me
.... and you need this knife for just waht again?? why would you run from the cops.. i just never got that.... idea...they stay in shape for a reason
What exactly makes a knive nicer...? Like how are like the Kershaw knives not as good as these Benchmades? im a noob to knifes
Benchmade is like the AGD of knives. For one, their tolerances are extremely precise. Each knife is hand assembled, so naturally, their quality control is outstanding. For example, my Osborne is damn near illegal, because when I release the lock, the blade just falls out. You would expect this blade to have MAJOR side-to-side wiggle, because it is so loose. Actually, there is ABSOLUTELY NO WIGGLE. The knives are just made so well, and with such good material (my Osborne has titainium liners under the aluminum scales), that they can have ultra-smooth and still be study as all hell.

I know that most companies make a low quality more money firnedly version of their knifes, those 2 Benchmade knives in my previous post.... Are those still good quality even tho their cheap?
You can't go wrong with a Benchmade. Some people don't like them, but I've put my carry knife through hell and back and it's still an excellent knife, a year and a half after I purchased it.

Also reccomended, it's quite sturdy, light, and very cool. Useless as a self defense knife, due to the deployment, but as a utility knife, the 'cool' factor is almost unbeatable.
My favorite knife of all time. Ive had two. Id still have the first one but my older brother has sticky fingers and the second one i lost at my cabin
edit: I forgot to tell you about the knife.
Sharp as all hell and it really held an edge well. It felt really compact clipped inside my pocket. Sometimes id forget it was there. Lifetime warrarnty. If it ever gets dull, chipped, anything send it back and they fix it. And the most appealing and sweetest part about the knife:
SPRING-ASSIST BABY!!!
hmmmmm /me thinks its time to visit my local outdoors store again
I have top one
best pocket knife i have owned
love it

I never liked the spring assist opening feature that Kershaw has on some of their knives... I always had trouble with it opening when I didn't want it to, so I had to lock it shut, which required two hands to undo the lock...
Get a Boker switchblade, those are nice. Stay away from Smith and Wesson, my friend thought it should be good, so he gave it a shot, sucked horribly.
Explain how it sucks, other than it doesn't fit your needs?
I got my S&W for cheap.. and I love it. It cuts things fine. It's durable. You don't notice it in your pocket.. nice and small.
Maybe I have a "specail" S&W that just totaly kicks the crap outta everyone else you guys have tried. Sure, it's not a super specail knive that costs 100+ bucks.. but it works...
