i bet they had special kindergarden handcuffs made just for this purpose...

i bet the girl will nab them for not reading her rights

if i was he defense attorney, i would say

"Ladies and Gentlemen of the Jury, (yes im sure they will face her with a grand jury, as you know, she couldve committed mass murder) These people are dumbasses, and i move that they have a ruler shoved up their ***. Thank you"

all this and you cant wear a shirt that says corona on it, because it promotes alcohol, but you can wear one that says "**** america" because its free speech?

        yep, thats our education system

They can search whatever they want. Your car, locker, backpack, and even you. If someone gives a principal a note that "Bill" has a gun, they will search everything. I believe that they still need a warrant to search Bill's house. You lose all your 4th amendment rights as soon as you walk through the front door.

Thats BS. They should have let her sit in the office for 3 hours. Than yell at her tellin' her "Never do bring them again" and then let her go back to class.

I was expelled from my school about a year ago for having too many refferels/fights. Didn't really think i could get expelled for that, but im still in this damn displinary school, its really hard to get out of schools like these, so if she does attend a school like that i wish her luck and i think it is stupid to get police involved in something like that expecially with a 4th grader.... I mean we use scissors in school, so there basically hiporcrits or how ever u spell that.

So basically if you do have a gun and they want to search you run off school grounds, point and laugh.

my senior year of high school two people were dragged out of class and arrested. they found a gun in one kids locker and the other had a knife in possession.

a couple of weeks ago a young kid asked the teacher if she could close the door. once the door was closed i believe it was a scissor that the kid took out and started swinging with cutting 5 other students very badly.

                      food for thought......

i still think that little porsche boxster shouldnt have been arrested in cuffs but they have to follow the rules.

Hell with the kids, they should arrest the damned school board for assault with a deadly weapon.

Almost correct - they can search your locker because its school property, you pay no rent you have no legal authority to stop them. Your car they cannot search (even on their property) without permission, immenient circumstances, or a warrant. They can tell you they don't need permission to get your permission, but if they search it without permission anything they find is not useable in a court of law - though not sure if they could use it to expell you. Searching your person and your backpack without reasonable cause would be harder, but someone saying they saw something in it, or failing to pass a metal detector, is cause enough. You have as much of your 4th amendment rights at school as anywhere else, the thing is its not near what they may think you have.

'imminent circumstances' is nearly carte blanche for the police to search whatever... theres already legal precident for 'gut feeling' searches. Also boo to the patriot act. Only thing i ever had confiscated that i didnt get back was a lockpick, we brought paintball guns and knives and such to school all the time, private school can be cool that way.

mmkay, you forgot to add they can still kick you out of school if you refuse to let them search our car, they'll get you on insubordination or something like that.

also, i think that drug dogs shouldn't be brought into the school.
i'm not into drugs or anything, i just think its an invasion of privacy.

they actually take the dogs out into the parking lot at my school, my friend had his car searched because the dogs thought they smelled something. my friend had nothing on him.
i would have raised hell right there.

What is having the dogs in the parking lot hurting?
I guess we shouldn't have dogs in the airport either, I don't want them smelling my bags.
