Features are nice but ultimately, if the feature does not solve a problem that no one has, you are spending money to say "I got the one with the biggest list of stuff." Sort of like the Angels used to be. Wonder why that stopped?

I concur. I'm simply saying that Apple has managed to do a better job of marketing their product [and hit the market first], and as such, have captured it, despite not having some of the flashy crap other products have. Believe me, my posts are 100% pro-iPod.

I've only begun ripping my CD collection. The Classic Rock CD sets and Guitar Rock are already taking up the majority of my iPod mini. I have about 100-200 CD's left. So basically, I'm running out of room at a high bit-rater.

Wouldn't it be awesome if I like, could totally DOWNLOAD low QUALITY copies to my Napster player from the net, instead of ripping all of my CD's. Screw that! I can pay a monthly fee, and lose it all when I quit paying. Yeah, real smart. Let's download 10,000 low quality songs that aren't even MINE. They belong to MS Janus.

Subscription services will fail. Now, if only file sharing retards could realize the poor quality that the song they downloaded is, the music world would be a better place.

Nah. That will never happen(the retard one, not the service failure)

The only thing I have used iTMS is quick, I need it for a slideshow, I don't have it on CD, songs. That, and I might use it for the Complete U2 for $150, and save quite a lot of money(400ish songs).

I don't have good ears, and good earphones(Etymotic Research)to just use poor quality music. However, sadly, most people don't realize what they are missing with that poor quality music.

Now if iTMS offered lossless files...
