all this christian-mainstream rock is really bad IMO, i forgot which singer had a class action suit against him because he got too drunk to remember his lyrics but that is so hypocritical it amazes me

and that really must be showing my age too

yes, i realize it wasnt a rage origional, it was off the cd Renegades, which were tribute songs.. maggies farm-dylan etc etc...
the fact is, they tried to cover the rage version, saying how rage inspired them (i dont know where he pulled this out of, since they sound nothing alike) etc etc. i took offence to it it was so bad

Aren't you in California? Nickelback are from Alberta, Canada.Originally posted by MrWallenI think they're pretty good...I am pretty biased though, since they came from the town like 5 minutes away from me.

Assuming you mean Danny Lohner's old band, then it's Skrew with a 'k'. (I know, how original) But more importantly, you're only the second person I've ever seen mention them. I still love the "Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame" album...listening to it right now, in fact...so thanks.Originally posted by -=Squid=-Screw
P.S. I say "Danny Lohner's old band" because that's how I found them, me being a huge Trent Reznor fan and all...Comment

Ah, damn... I didn't catch it. Ya, I love them. My dad knows all of them... Wish they were still around. But hey, now it's another one of those obscure bands I can show off to my friends.Originally posted by wageslaveAssuming you mean Danny Lohner's old band, then it's Skrew with a 'k'. And I as well am a huge Reznor fan :) I have some cool stories, including:
My mom and dad knew him on a somewhat personal level
my mom saved his dog
my dad had an opportunity to play with NIN.Comment
