Sorry, but things of the world will never be able to heal some of the pain that has been inflicted.

Only God can do that. People that have seen that happen first hand get offended by comments about brainwashing. Brainwashing doesn't change world history in three years, only God does.
You know not really that many muscians commit suicide. and of all the people that I have known that use drugs muscians sure arent the only ones... and yes some people are self medicating themselves to hide emotional pain and this happens among the general population...not everyone is in termoil though... there are many others that just like to get high...

I respect the guy for having the courage to make the change irregardless of his motivation

I think religon could be considererd brainwashing at the least its a bunch of lies and conveneint explanations for our world. Thats just my opinion. Many of you beleive in the invisible magician that created everything. That is your opinion. But, don't cry when someone expresses thier beleifs. Thats silly. And how many of you worry about offending someone when you post. You are always gonna offend someone. Its silly to have to be PC just because its religon. Why do your beleifs get special privledges?

Back to the topic. I think that sucks. I like Korn. I think thier lyrics are a little whiney but other than that they are a pretty good band. It sucks that yet another is taken in by the lies and is blindly following and devoting his profession to them.

Well maybe he got tired of playing but man is ok to be religious but to get out of stuff that you really like is fanatism. Religious fanatism is the worst mental problem with no cure.

So guys when your woman gets too religious shes cheatin with God.

But well at least his not in a bad thing.

You are a kid of great faith. I commend you on that. To have the faith that all that we are and all that this world is was nothing more than a chance cosmic mistake is HUGE faith!

Just wait until you don't have all the answers. Then maybe the invisible magician might help you out.

Kinda ironic that Jonathan's favorite song is "Amazing Grace" done on bagpipes, eh?

I wish Head all the best. Let's all just hope he doesn't end up in Creed.

there is a HUGE difference in believing in God than having an actual relationship

                    Heck, Satan believes in God

believing in God doesn't declare you a Christian
The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves. 'You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

I have faith in fact and truth. Science has allready explained most of your beliefs to be false. Don't hold your breath on me lookin for answers in a bunch of lies and convenient but false explanations. Sorry that I don't blindly follow a pack of lies. I like truth better. If our world was created by this magical man, who created him. Did he pop out of thin air? Yeah your explanation of the universe makes much more sense.

No offense Chris but you really do not know your stuff. I'm not going to take sides but I will say a few things.
Science is not nessicarily the truth. It is all theorys. That's all we can do. We cant prove anything. We cant prove that god exists or that he doesnt exist. There is no 'truth' involved. How are you so sure that science is not a 'pack of lies'? How can you be so sure about the origion of the universe? Sorry, but a giant explosion in space that created the universe is just about as abstract as 'god'. There is nothing definite in science at all. There is no such thing as a fact. Science has not proved ANYTHING false. It is all theorys.
I'm not really trying to defend theism, just trying to show how ignorant you are.
