If Kai was from Illinois, then he'd probably kill himself.Originally posted by ICPYou can't be from IL originally, it's always been pop, always will be.
Incidentally, so would I.

I know they say "pop" in Ohio and Minne-soda...
In California it's either "soda" or "coke"(used generically):
"What do you want do drink?"
"I'll have a coke"
"What kind?"
"Mountain Dew."
In Arkansas it's...oh hell, who cares?!"Otaeri wa doko desu ka?"

michigan says pop.
is it just me or are the soda people more hostile in their defense of their chosen term?
i find the generic use of the word coke for all carbonated soft drinks absolutely hilarious and at the same time completely ridiculous.
ah well, good old southern know-not.Comment

I just like to confuse the waitress and ask what soft drinks they have
not once have I been told pop, north or south always soda.
I hear people here using pop sometimes but in general they are from the north or rural locations (note: I am talking about the UK now
) we do have one brand called Panda Pops...they are nasty but then they are aimed at little kids. Biggest annoying term is someone saying Juice meaning all soft drinks...what is that all about? Juice comes from the fruit nowhere else.

It's soda.
Pop is for effeminate little goobers who wear bowties and say thinks like, "swell", "shucks" and "golly"!Return to the free market. Get rid of all government regulations and let society make it's own decisions. Time and again the relaxing of government regulations has increased profits, innovation and the economy.Comment

Dont follow ur logic. Its almost always the first part that is used and not the second.Originally posted by kosmoIt is pop. This is because the full word is soda-pop. If youre gonna shorten it, might as well be logical and use the shorter part...
My name is Christopher. People call me Chris for short not Topher.
Just like say... Stephanie. People would call her Steph not phanie.
