Man this isn't the first time you've posted something similar to this, the responses are basically the same as the last time. I'll say this again you're 14 years old so you obviosly are suseptable to the load of BS that PETA shovels your way. We didn't make it to the top of the food chain so I can eat broccolli. Man go out have a steak, let laid and rethink you're place in life.

So I guess this means you're not going to be enjoying the burgers and dogs at the AONE bbq huh?

On a similar note I have a friend at work who was a total vegan for two years (did it for a chick, don't ask me, nobody is worth me doing that to myself) He said he always felt like crap had no energy and looked like death most of the time. WWhen that relationship ended he came to his senses. He did say the first time he ate meat again he had never been sicker in his life (a bodys vengance for two years of being mistreated) but when he recovered he said he felt the best he had ever felt. Peope are meant to eat meat there is no way around it, you'e never gonna change it.

              on a different topic

not to start another flame war in a completely unrelated topic, but you guys arguing over this on the internet is silly, like this thread I don't know what it is going to accomplish.

They exaggerated everything to the point of ridiculousness. I know for a fact that the cattle industry is not even near anything like they have shown and I'm pretty sure that poultry and pig industries aren't either.

They make it sound like branding and casterating are so cruel, but hey that's how it's been for centuries and that's how it's going to continue to be. And as for the "electric prods" a.k.a. hotshots... how the heck else would you plan on getting a 1500-2000 lb animal to move??? Whisper lovely things in it's ear?

And as for every single point in the movie where they said an animal was still alive while it was being scalded or having it's throat slit... that is pure B.S. I'm sure there are a few cases where an animal makes it through the initial killing stage but almost every shot they showed was of an animal convulsing after death. It just happens... deal with it.

Oh and the dairy cattle being torn away from their babies... the cows calve and then they are kept toghether for about a week or so until the cows colostrom subsides and then the calf is seperated and fed milk replacer which is basically what formula is for a human baby. This process is called freshening the cow and makes them produce more milk. Also the milking machines do not hurt or cripple the cattle... the dairy depends on the cattle for milk so why would they want to harm them? All shots of the dairy cattle who could hardly walk were probably of cows involved in some accident or cows so old that they just got crippled up (happens to humans too).

All in all... what a load of crap.

yeah, i have worked on a chicken farm... the chickens are perfectly fine the whole time.. the chicken farmers keep the barns vented and make sure the temperature is right in the barn. They kill the chickens with something that snaps their necks, not throw them on the ground. when the chickens are killed, they are taken out of the barn... not left in there. If you did not notice either, the whole movie was on ghetto farms... not cleaner respectable ones.

                      I don't remember posting this...

I have no problem at all with eating meat, being an avid hunter and fisherman. I'll enjoy a burger or 2 but I just don't like hot-dogs. Again my freezer downstairs is half full of Fallow deer meat that my family and I hunted. Speaking of I'll bring a couple up for us to have.

No it's not much like venison. It is much tender and less of a game-y taste. I think you'll like it. I read that they serve it at Foxwoods casino.
