Lots of passenger and trunk room may not sound glamorous, but your friends will really appreciate the leg room.
Yeah, for your first bike definatly get the fastest thing you can find...

Disclaimer )because someone here will surly win a darwin award if I don't have one)Sarcasm): Don't buy an extreemly fast bike to learn on.

        On a more serious note.
Get a thirdgen camaro, a Charlie Daniels CD and a cowboy hat.

The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves. 'You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

Spend about two thousand on a crappy, used car. Then, after about a year of driving use your other 12 thousand and buy a car you like. Chances are that you will get in some sort of wreck in that first year, and it will probably be your fault.

Definitely don't get an SUV. Gas mileage sucks and they are hard to move with. It is much easier switching lanes in a sedan then an suv. I have a 97 ford explorer and I hate it. I can't really complain though, got it for free.

I'd suggest any toyota for your first car. In most cases great gas mileage and great reliablity. People here tell you to get a used car which probably isn't a bad idea as long as it has low miles and is still under warrenty. My brother bought a used jeep fully loaded for 17,000 from a dealer. He has had nothing but problems with it. He has had it 7 months and has paid 2k in repairs already. He is going to sell it and buy a new sedan with all the great prices from the gm discount.

Definitely look at any GM car if you want a good price, the gm employee discount is pretty crazy how cheap they are letting cars go.

what i would do is go look around for some drag cars with two seats in it that ran a good time for like 5 or 6 grand put some wheels and tires on it and now you got a fast car save alot of money on it.
