Actually my brothers are both going to college this year. One of them is going to Gonzaga, he got a $55,000 scholarship. Yet, this only covers 2 years of college! My other brother is going to Central Washington University, i believe it costs around $20,000 a year. So when you say that lady is stupid for saying it should be a good start, shes actually right. So it makes you look even more stupid

No, you just were unaware as to how expensive Education has become.

At the community college I went to, it was $26 a credit. Sounds reasonable (And it is) but after you take 18 credits, it adds up.

Heck... to me $500 was a big deal, or even $100. That's $500 that does not come out of my pocket. I had a small $1500 scholarship that really helped out - and appreciated that. Every little bit counts.

Hell... if I had $30k for school, I would have jumped for joy. Every dollar is one dollar you don't pay.
