Do you happen to know anyone who has enlisted with the french foreign legion? Anyone I could talk with would be welcomed whole heartedly.

just to let you guys making fun of the legion know, alot (if not most) of the legionaires aren't french. and alot are people who are on the run or have no alternatives to military service, so you probably wouldn't want to screw with them.WAS'ed angel speedComment

I seriously almost joined them towards the end of my military career. I was rather dissatisfied with the Clinton Meals on Wheels military doctrine and other crap going on.... There were a few conditions of enlistment that I did not care for though and dropped the idea. Even the Legion do not like the French! LOL
There are some former Legion working private gigs in teh sand box too.Comment

I don't know what their requirements are today but back in the day, giving up US citizenship and a minimum 6 year enlistement were deal breakers to me.Comment
