    The whole russian thing?

Has anybody ever noticed thosr young hippsters who were the USSR garb. You know, those up and comming college students who were the shirts with the hammer and sickle and the russian stars. I don't get it, is it suposed to be funny? Or is it just one of those things which people just wear because its cool?

Or is it a cry for help?...

if it's pixelated they are fans of this webcomic, http://www.dieselsweeties.com/shirts/index3.shtml it's about half way down the list.

if it's a normal hammer and sickle, probably wanna-be intelligent kids.

Just more idiotic wanna-be hipsters who seem to forget exactly what the Soviet Union was about. Might as well wear a swastika on their shirts. Morons.

I'm sure it one of the cool fad retro "80" things. Frankly I don't care as far as I'm concerned or goverment is just as guilty as atrocities as the russian goverment was.

Why not wear a swastika on your shirt? It IS a symbol of good luck. Not that I condone it or anything, just saying.

It WAS a symbol of good luck, Jewish IIRC. However, the Germans tipped it on its side to make it the symbol we know and hate...few know the difference though...

That's not the swastika. The swastika is reversed.
