Also in my opinion it seems dumb to make your system last for more than 5 years (which the ps3 is suppost to last 10) because technology ups to fast and I think in 5 years MS will come out with something new again. Im still getting a ps3 though but later on when the price drops and when I can afford a really nice tv but right now im happy with my hd moniter hocked up to my 360.
I give them 2 maybe 3 years until they are at it again. 5 years won't come for the PS3

Yeah, I hear ya! Gaming was never this expensive before! At $60 a game, you expect a lot from it. If MS or Sony expects us to drop that much money, they better encourage developers to really put some thought into their game designs. Of course, this is easier said than done. But it's wishful thinking.

As for the Wii, I'll get that once there's a bigger selection of compelling games for it.

But all in all, I think no matter what company you choose to support, good things will come out for each system. I am sure the Wii's numbers will force developers to really consider that machine than they previously did with Nintendo's older systems. Actually, now that I think about it, I know lots of developers who are burnt out from fussing over difficult hardwares and would love to get back to basics of game development. That said, Wii owners will have to wait until said developers finish making their games. Both Sony and Nintendo need to deliver more games to their consumers. MS has the luxury of a year headstart and is truly showing what the system can do now.
