That made me laugh.. An AIR with its own tank cover...

I'm serious, man. What's next? Burning crosses on AIRs? Ooh, wouldn't THAT be something to talk about? I'll bet people would buy them, too, since they'd be "cool" on the internet.

You know, there's a difference between art and trash. This is the art equivalent of Jesus on the cross in a jar of urine.

His point is that simply we would not be having this discussion if it was a male and a female, because the picture never would have been posted.

It just shows the double standard that heterosexual couples are allowed to perform public displays of affection but homosexuals are not granted the same allowances.

I'm going to leave it as that because this is not the place to discuss the denial or rights against homosexuals and it's against the rules to discuss politcal topics.

There's more pictures than the one with the two women up there.

I'm speaking generally, here, not just about the two women.

Shartley says he'd say something but I find that doubtful. Let's say Kenny Clamper is "kissing his girlfriend" after an exciting win...is Shartley going to walk up to him and ask him to go somewhere else? Please..... I say. Who cares. If two girls making out offends you, leave.
I think this is a bash towards lesbians and this whole thread should be taken down.
BUT to imply that people shouldn't show affection in public or that you wouldn't as an adult be allowed to go somewhere by a partner because of the type of people and their looks and attitudes that you may encounter is in my opinion showing a lack of trust and the wrong attitude in a modern world where people of different views and races and cultures need to co-exist.
If you really don't like it and don't want it to happen, you know the best thing you can do is ignore it... not repost pictures and not complain, because if there is no reaction to such adverts and no-one buys because of them then they won't make them. They will find another way.
There's no such thing as bad publicity.
I also see a lot of underlying homophobia and other life style/racial type issues implied in this thread.
This unfortunatly *wouldn't* be seen as an issue if either the kisser or the kissee had a Y chromosome.
nope but you see scantily clad Chearleaders doing exercise and jiggling around for most US sports. Who do you think those Chearleaders are there for? And why do you think they are there?
Lastly, no laws banning kissing in public come to my mind...and personally if I was making out with my girlfriend and someone came up to me and asked me to go do it somewhere else, I'd probably give him a funny look and tell him to stay out of my business.

This started out as a good topic and observation of advertising techniques. However it has fallen into the inevitable pit of name calling and threats.

For the last word; homosexuality has never been fully accepted by the vast majority worldwide, this is why it is offensive to be forced to witness such acts. Yes, forced. If you are walking by the WPD booth checking out their fine guns, when loud giggling causes you to look up and see two women "sucking face", then it has been forced on you, and is unacceptable.

While at NPPL in LA, I was embarrased for Sarah, for I am sure she overheard conversations, or yelling, that included much language I do not like her to hear. Over-protective? No, just being a sensible Father.
