Apathetic got it. Im asking if there is a bushing/spacer to allow using an AM sear with an RTP rail & pin.

You are not the universe. I see others that have questions and you would get more people to buy, by explaining yourself on this design choice.
When you make yourself open, then you should not avoid questions just because you don't like them. You can't have it both ways.Comment

Everyone here knows your modus operandi so I'm not going to bother engaging you, if you're actually curious about this design then review the whole thread.Comment

IIRC the main holes in the AM and RTP sears are different sizes, meaning you cant put an RTP bushing in an AM sear. I'm sure it could be done but I dont think you'll find anything off the shelf. If you're a machinist you could make one for pretty cheap, but to hire a machinist to make one for you would probably cost more than the $30 it cost to buy a new sear.Comment

I don't mind the new sear setup. Standard sears and pins seem much more plentiful (and cheaper) than RT sears and axles, and I know I get annoyed when the pin falls out and sear starts flopping during disassembly. And for RT-type rails it'd clean up the sides without the threaded hole for the sear axle.
I don't see any glaring cons except for if someone has a boatload of RT sears and axles waiting for future rails. (In that case, message me so I can relieve you of several!)>>WTB<< Sydarm w/ constant air__WarpedMephisto half-c/f body__Ac!d c/f trigger__TASO humpback frame__an Oh-MagComment

Yep, we're on the same page... I'm just saying it would be a good idea to make such a spacer so people can easily convert from AM to RTP rails without having to change sears... plus make everyone dispose of their AM sears, lol. I'm thinking there might even be some metal tubing out there that could just be cut off for this. I've seen the threads where people are discussing the RTP bushings and trying to make them for AM's... don't know if anyone has done it yet.IIRC the main holes in the AM and RTP sears are different sizes, meaning you cant put an RTP bushing in an AM sear. Yes, my modus operandi is to ask questions on something i do not understand. There is nothing secondary to that. I did not bash this or insult you. I read this and from previous threads gleaned that limiting machining operations means lower time to make and lower cost as you spend less time on an individual piece.l, hence why i asked that question.
But the questions i asked and others have said similarly, have not been answered. You putting up a statement is not answering the questions. You coming onto the forum and having a discussion with everyone but who you don't care for is not a good way of doing business. You should answer every and all questions or just be closed and have no discussion about a product till its done.Comment

I have 2 thoughts on this now-edited reply.
1) It really should show that you edited this afterwards. That's kind of scummy. I think I'd be more ok with the comment as it read rather than you playing god in the background, making your posts look like you didn't just compare yourself to the universe.
2) Are we absolutely certain that Rogue and Luke didn't become one person? I'm just saying.....RAWR

I already stated why I found that controversial.
Remember that post above where I stated what I thought of it? You know, the one you replied to by deciding to use my real name instead of my username and asked if you could touch me?RAWR
