When you tell a newbie you have an automag

LOl, last weekend my field attracted newbs like honey attracts ants...(err sumthin like that)

Anyways it was the first time me and a friend got to try out our new markers (he had a new tko mag, i had a sp imp) anyways the fun started as soon as we hit the chrono, my friend was shooting just below the fps field limit, then he decided to show off to a church group that was just behind us... needless to say as soon as the paint left the barrel..."omg that joint is shooting so hard" "look its automatic!" "he is going to be on my team!"
I decided that i would have some fun too, everyone crowded around me (you know how the imp has the blinking blue light) well i get a bunch of funky comments concerning that, then someone asked if my revvy had a scope in it ( i was thinking wtf did this kid smoke before comming here?) Then i shot out a string of balls (dunno how fast, maybe 7-8 bps) then the usual "holy crap that kid cant play with us!" "we dont want to play with automatics, or pros"

thank goodness i have left that stage....

you know what i find at my field. almost everyone has a cocker and they are all dressed up for tourney play even though its rec and they are like "goddamn autococker keeps jamming" or "stupid thing wont cock!" or some other easy to solve problem and then when i tell em your timing is off our the detent its probably broke they all go "shut your mouth newbie!" then i come with my cocker and go chrono and reply "hey mine works! wow must be cuz i know what im doing!" its funny looking at their faces turn red(on time the guy got so pissed he turned purple and threw his gun) those guys are newbies!

I like the "we don't wan't to play agenst that gun" so I just walk over and hold out my marker and say "trade ya for a game" (que big eyes) it's fun.

Yeah i love giving a newb my gun to play with they are look cool! I usually can play for free since I let the newbs use my gun for a hundred paint or so, they love it! I don't use that much paint anyway i can go to the field and spend 5 bucks. Last time I went home with 300bucks of a value of a new ReTro Valve, got it when i told them I would make a cool website, so far they love it!

Well, usually I just get a bunch of crap from my friends for shooting a mag. But the newbs make me feel like a God.

i routinly play against a team with two cockers on it ... and almost every game, they walk off the field with drippy barrels from breaks and tinker before the next .. and then there's my mag with less then one ball break a month ... unless i forget to turn on my Revy

Man, I feel so left out of that.... I go to a field that rents mags! The guys who run the place look at my mag and say... "MAN! That's a beat up mag, you better take good care of it or it'll crap out on you."
Then they shoot it... "Hmmm, amazing how your mag runs so well even on pretty beat up parts." Then they try to sell me their old black magic cocker..... lol

Newbs usually say they don't want to play against me.

I also get asked if i blend alotta paint, but that isn't normally from newbies. Usually from everyone whose heard about them "breaking so much paint"
