all the "Cockers have a flatter trajectory" stuff is... dumb
if the guns are both aimed with the barrels parallel to the ground, and the same paint, same barrel, same velocity, they will have the exact same flight path... it's not possible without a backspin system or magic elves to make ball from one gun defy the laws of physics...

the only decent explanation of the "cocker shoots flatter" myth is that most other guns have more of a kick and you get a tiny bit of muzzle rise in rapid strings..... solve that problem by not being a wuss and shouldering your marker properly..... you have a foregrip? you use your offhand on the foregrip to push the marker into your shoulder, push that tank tight against your shoulder! now pull the trigger.... see, it doesn't lob the balls in rapid fire anymore!

no gun is any better than any other gun at the high end level. E-Mag, ANgel, Cocker, Matrix, Timmy.... all are equal, only personal preference make s a difference. it is your comfort with it that makes a certain gun better

But, like someone said earlier, while it may take 30 shots to hit an ankle with an Angel, a Mag will normally be able to do that much more easily, because a Mag is, by design, much more consistent in airflow, and mechanically thanks to Tom's strict-to-the-point-of-being-anal tolerances (thank you, by the way, for those, Tom). Throughout most of your post, I agree'd with you. Until you tried to say that a mag is more consistent then an angel. There must be a reason why Rocky Cagnoni can hit (32) 296's in a row. I'd like to see a mag be able to do that. With my angel now i can run my velocity at 273(limit 280) and have absolutely no fear that it will spike more then 7. I'd be mad if it spoked more then 3. I think it's about time we all stop being biased or you may just not have a single clue. After all why are there no AGD sponsored teams on the pro curcuit anymore??? Why does everyone shoot angels, timmy's, cockers, impulses??? Maybe some of you should think about that.

dude, that's not Rocky's gun, it's cause Rocky is Rocky...

also consider that Rocky and the rest of Avalanche all have the absolute highest quality equipment and the freshest paint that is possible for anyone to have... their guns are all tuned by some of the best Angel techs on the planet, and their AIR systems are the finest that WDP could send them... not too mention the paint is the roundest and freshest ??Diablo?? could get to them.... at the average field... less than perfect air fills, dirty staging areas, off the shelf guns, off the shelf air systems, paint that is just a tiny bit older

the Pros will always have the most consistent and highest quality stuff...

as for the lack of AGD Pro teams.... most of the Pro teams are older, and have reasons they shoot the guns they do like... All-AMericans--> they have to shoot SP guns cause they're pretty much an SP factory team, Aftershock--> they couldn't very well not use SHocktech guns
Dynasty--> think they had to pay for those Angels?


and the Jax Warriors, newer pro team... would you say no to Budd Orr if he offered you free guns and they didn't chop as much as the E-Mags they had had...

honestly, the original E-Mag could very easily chop... but now... lvl 10, not a chance. there's goes the 1 disadvantage the E-Mag had.... and besides. Manny Francia is in all the Pure Energy ads with a Shocktech SFL E-mag.

Angels not consistent? tell that to mine, chrony's in at +/-2fps on a bad day, My mag chrony's in at +/-5fps, gues which one has the tighter pattern (Admittedly, the Angel has a much superior air system)

Ok lets see there are no internal upgrades for Angels. Volumizers dont affect performance.

As for paint, as long as you dont let it sit in a bad enviroment it wont go bad as fast as you think. I get great consistensy with some-what old JT elite paint. The newer the Angel sometimes the worse. It take awhile to break in the mini-reg and even to get all the white lithium out of the chambers. So most of the time you want a little older angel to make sure it's broke in.

When i go to IAO/Diablo and try out the extreme's the LVL 10 will really have to impress me to change my mind about this one.

Basically I think the Angel has the looks and neato electronic setup over the E-Mag...and the lighter weight.
E-Mag...I can shoot it faster...its a lil smaller...but heavier...

Angel.................. Quality always shoots straight , having said that i can nail a pie plate from 150ft 4/5 times.

Angels can't run on dead batteries, but when do they have batteries ? a normal battery lasts about 150k shots , that's longer than some people even own thier guns. I love the way it shoots, the speed ,the accuracy , and the ease of squegeeing........ no twistlock barrel to screw me up ingame ( i was at a tourney with my mag and the barrel twist lock unlocked and i got shot out )

I can put 150 out of 150 balls on a pie plate sized area from 30 yards at 20 bps full auto.

Everytime we go demo the e-magnum.

i highly doubt that. the only way it could happen is if the spring in the barrel detent fell out or was very loose

Well...i went through the debate in my head personally...I was talking to people here on AO...I had Cliffio talking to me about Angels and such...and well..I decided to get a H/R PF eMag...and I'm happy with it..I always liked the way my mags shot...and I'm going to be slamming a Lx kit into it when that arrives...I've got a freak on order..and like i said..i'm happy with it...It's what i wanted...some people may say whatever...but i got what i wanted...for what i wanted to pay...and that's pretty much decided it for me..

Well had a couple of Angels, Should be getting my Extreme C&C on Friday so will let you know which I prefer.
As far as money goes I coulda got an IR3 very cheaply but went for the more expensive but lighter C&C.
