They're going down either way... even more, what if SP WINS and they get boycoted to death? That would be a riot, they have to stop making product because no on buys it, will never happen, but I refuse to support SP, DYE or national and that goes as long as I can... and I can go for a LONG TIME.

Not quite.... if you allow others to make or sell a product it isn't a monopoly. Licensing fees are quite common in just about every other industry.

Okay, enough. I'm not gonna be stupid about this. I'm still gonna buy Dye stuff because I like Dye stuff. I'm not gonna boycott every company who does something in their own interest just because Smart Parts is being stupid.

Dye made a wise decision. That is not to say though that AGD, ICD, JT, etc etc have not made wise decisions. In all possibility this could blow over(I'm not betting any money on it though). Regardless, I will still buy Dye stuff because they make quality products that I like.

Hmm... I do not see this as being good. Either the people who are most able to fight it have realized they are not going to win, or SP is offering super deals to the people who could fight it best to avoid a hard fight... either way it does not bode well for anyone.

you do understand that if you boycott nps than you should also boycott anything they carry which includes almost every company in the industry. (look in an 888paintball catalog and boycott every thing in there)

So what if Tom decides to keep his company afloat? it's not right to ruin someone else, using underhanded methods, just to save your company. I mean... what ever happened to hard work, perserverance, the good and the bad times? I hate smart parts for what they are doing to the paintball industry. I also disliked being called an idiot just because I have the balls to stand up for something I beleive in instead of just going with the flow ( this is kinda like the internet stores vs local shops ). It's cheaper to go online, but it's will destroy paintball if everyone bought everything online. Paintball is STILL relativly joung, you put a cap on the technology we are at now, then it's gone. Smart parts are nothing more then the bully at school, only problem is, eventually there's gonna be a bigger bully.

I think ALOT of people in the industry have DELIBERATLY not pentend stuff to help the sport grow. Now Smart parts wants to rake in the dough off all the grow the early companies did. You're not going to tell me you like this?

Seriously, I don't like being called idiot or stupid. Stupid is letting some company come in and dictate what you play with, wear, what tournaments you go to and how high to jump. I think that some kids are missing the bigger picture.
