Oh man, contact Clare or Curtis, see if they can do a trigger job for you. Clare messed with my Xmag trigger, and now its kick arse.

this isnt a slam...rare for me these days i know...but i had a loose battery pack on mine. i used this thingee called an allen key and tightened the screw holding the pack and it never wiggled again. sometimes thumb tightening will only go so far.

Methinks you will have many opporunities to find out for yourself very soon -

My $.02 is that not only would an Emag set me back a few more bucks, but any gain in ROF would make each day of play cost that much more. Not the traditional point of view, but if I can go through two cases + of paint in a day with my feeble mech rig, what would I do with a faster rig?

There are two times that I feel my ROF is a factor: on the break and trying to lane, or when someone is running and I am trying to lay a rope in front of them. Other than than, I am grooving on the ULE/Xmag at a chronoed 11BPS.

i did own an emag and here is what i didnt like.
1)the battery pin the should put an on/off switch on it cause the pin is just gay.
2)the charger sucks i hate how the screw holds it on the battery. mine was such a pain to make sure it was staying on the battery things so it charged.
3)they need to make them come stock withg ule frames and rails.
4)they should come sock with ace like x mags
5)they should get rid of the emag and just mass produce the xmag.

If that happens, just tighten the set screw. that will kill RT runaway.

Allow me to debunk some of the complaints about the Emag:

                    1. It's heavy

Personally, I enjoy a heavy gun, it's the only workout my arms get during the week (I don't think typing on a keyboard is a good enough workout. ). If you get used to playing with a heavier gun, then imagine what it will feel like when you lighten it up. Besides, some of the other electros out there are just as heavy.

                    2. The battery is large and dosen't last long

So what? I've gone over a month (continuously playing, BTW) without charging it. Sure, the battery is large, but I hold onto my Warp when I play so I really don't care about the battery size.

                    3. The trigger sucks

Not really. When tuned properly, the Emag trigger is insane. I can walk it just as fast as I can walk an Impulse or any other electro for that matter. Plus, the manual switch mode is awesome. At Shatnerball, e-mode went down in the middle of a firefight. I switched it to manual, and the gun kept shooting like a champ. A few minutes later, I switched it back to e-mode, and it worked again.

Points made in favor of the Emag

                    1. Ridiculously easy to maintain. I haven't cleaned my gun in months, because I don't need to. 3 drops of oil every few weeks, and the Emag just plain works.

                    2. Manual/electro trigger. As stated before, if for some reason e-mode goes down, you're still in the game with manual.

                    3. Fastest recharging valve. Unless you're not of this world, 20+ bps should be more than suffice.

                    4. LX kit. I don't care what anybody says, the LX is better than an eye. For one thing, an eye slows the gun down (at least on E-cockers and Impy's), which is a pain. Also, a finely tuned LX will never chop. I haven't had a bolt chop in many months.

                    5. Low profile. The Emag isn't nearly as tall as the Impulse or some of the other electros out there. With my Warp on my gun, it's very compact.

All in all, the Emag is a very nice product, and I wish people would stop hating on it.

Well, Im sure as heck going to keep working at the trigger to see if I can get it set up right. I'll even enlist help if necessary. But it is a challenging one to use.

The biggest problem I had with my E-RT (does that count?) is that I was looking for another job to buy paint bacause I loved to shoot it!

The few things about the emag that I have a problem with are:

                              1) twist lock barrels can cause the gun to not fire if you push the barrel to hard into a bunker, and it is hard to find good kits for them

                              2) the RT function of the gun can get you banned if you play tourneys

                              3) the stock 16bps software is CRAP (fixed with 3.2)

                              4) the fit and finish of the grips are worse than you get on a $99 shutter

                              5) HUGH grip frame

                              6) consistancy.. I can not get my marker better than +/- 17 with the "shoot up issue" my IR3 is +/- 2

                              7) the shootup issue (another possible tourney problem)

                              8) level 10 EATS BUMPERS (can be fixed with glue bahhh)

                              9) no where near as fast as a wased (insert marker here)

                              10) the HES trigger is a pain to keep adjusted tight, and still make the gun fire and not, bounce (another tourney issue for me)

                              11) the stock "hump" trigger is the most uncomfortable thing ever. AGD needs a blade like my TL63 **the TL63 ROCKS***

                              12) gas effeciency is not good at all (not an issue at tourneys with a big 4500.. I am a back guy and can shoot 6 pods and hopper before I am tapped on my 68/4500 my IR3 can shoot 8 pods

                              in conclusion....
for the price, buy a viking

                                4) you hate it when your gun works almost all the time with little maintenance

                                3) it blows having the fastest recharging valve on the market

                                2) the simplicty of having a great marker that doesnt require monthly new upgrades to perform is something you would hate

and the #1 reason to not buy an e-mag...

                                1) because 20bps isnt fast enough for you...when you could have a was'd anything that still will only fire 20 bps with paint.
