the fact is that the marker uses a trap door to seal the chamber instead of a bolt. although the way that it does it is slightly different, it operates on the same principle
saying it was a ripoff was a bit harsh so for that i apologize, but it is similar

I'm just an observer to this thread..dropping in from time to time...but I'm sorry..i just had to speak up about this. Srrdude..or what ever you want to be called; you're very rude, you seem very ill informed about a lot of things in paintball and your information seems to be irrelevant. I have been around paintball for almost 10 years and after a while all the new markers seem to borrow bits and pieces from other markers and that's what this "Alien" seems to be doing. Is it revolutionary? Maybe, but looking at a prototype with a badly photoshop'd shroud does not help the cause. You say you know so much about the marker but all you seem to do is tell us to look at a thread on another forum. Sorry, that doesn't cut it around here, but I guess I'll cut you some slack because you haven't been here long enough to know so I'll clue you in. Claims and BS don't go over well here and that's pretty much all you have provided us here. Unless you can show us exactly how this marker works or some kind of proof that this marker is what they claim it to be all you end up looking like is a badly misinformed free PR machine.

All- look, ive been watchin this thing progress from day one on pbnation, and i dont generall go there. Epic has a storage container in back like a automag or Matrix. That chamber pressurizes and in doing closes a door which is similar to a bolt but it goes over the ball. Pulling the trigger the valve dumps the air and a spring opens the chamber door - pressure closes it again.
