Why is the emag so inefficient????

why is the emag so inefficient with air? Why does it suck at using air so bad??? AGD should work on a way to fix this problem, cause I am tried of being in a game and running out of air and filling air after every game, it seems like I am filling air more than I am playing. I know some are going to say get a bigger tank, but my tank is big enough.

I use a Pure Energy 88 4500 on my Emag and have plenty of air after a 15 min game. I go on with my Egg2 filled and 5 140 ball Fatboys, most of the paint is gone and I still have over 2k of air left.

The emag, or any other mag isn't inefficient, it just isn't SUPER efficient like AKA guns, tuned cockers and upgraded matrices...

There is a difference from being inefficient and being super efficient... just because you aren't super efficient doesnt mean your inefficient... if that makes any sense.

yeah but, it is not efficient compared to any other guns out there, like the timmy, angel, impulse, bko, pretty much any other gun, my emag sucks the air out of my 68/4500 after like a hopper and 4 pods, I mean I could never play back or a long game with it.

I could throw 5 pods & a hopper with a 68/4500 on my Xmag. I upped that to 7 pods and a hopper with the 72/4500.

You got a leak somewhere that you can't hear.

I think you definitely have a leak somewhere. I easily shot over a hooper full and about 3 to 4 (140 rounds)pods of paint with my emag on my PMI 68 3000psi tank.

nope no leak, just bad effeciency. I mean it is ok to play front with but if I play back with 10 pods, it is not going to cut it, I am going to be throwing paint after 5 pods. Also I know I can get a bigger tank but then there is the other problem of it being heavy and I am not down with making it heavier with a bigger tank.

                        Its all about your barrel

68 3000 with a Lapco will get you 1000 shots
68 3000 with a AA or Dye Ultra lite you will get 650-700 shots

That being the only change you will see and 30% differnace in effeciency.

on my 68 4500 I get 1300 or so shots using my 14" Lapco or PMI Perfect barrels w/ Lvl 10

that drops to 900-1000 with a 2 peice CP, Dye UL, AA

                        -Robert

PS - if matrix owners really wanted to up thier shot count they woudl shoot 14-16" un ported barrles

Still might be worth checking for leaks with some water. You never know..

E-mag (or any electro) and water ....mmm what could be wrong with this statement....

Small spray bottle of very weak washing up liquid and lots of squirting is way better.

I use a 68/3k flatline on my emag and I got a Evo II and 3 pods with about 1k air left.
