I once had a similar thing happen with teh overdraft charges on my personal account, though I blame my ex not a company error - my ex used money when she was out of state, created a slew of overdrafts. I went into tbe bank manager, very polite about it, acknowledged it as a mistake. It took her about two minutes to reverse the overdraft charges (about $250 worth) which made me a lifetime customer."Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. Its not" - Dr SuessComment

Head down to your local branch. The duplicate charges were UNAUTHORIZED, and, consequently, the bank most likely has a policy against you being liable for them. I am assuming that this is a Visa or MasterCard debit card. Both Visa and MC have very strict rules against their merchants doing things like this and then not remedying the situation.Comment

so how is the pbgateways problem?.....
Looks like you should take this up with your bank.... no offense but if you have more than a few accounts and/or loans at that bank and you walk in the door to see the branch manager I can gurantee that those fees will be taken care of. Again that is "if" you have the pull.. i.e. they have a 'vested' intrest in keeping you aroundComment

I hate to break this to you but I really doubt that the emails will do any good. All they have to do is block your email addy and none of the emails will be thru anymore.
Most banks will refund the overdraft fees if another company was in the wrong. Companies won't refund overdraft fees. That is a very common practice with businesses. The bank is where you need to go, not the company.
I do agree that the company was very wrong in this and that the company is the cause of all this trouble. Good Luck

Me thinks some of you will regret sending the emails, especially since its an issue that should be taken up with the bank and not paintballgateway.com
A mistake was made, but I don't see a reason that gateway should refund the the overdraw money was a 10 minute converstaion with the bank manager could easily solve the situation.
Instead of going after paintballgateway.com, why not email them and ask them for a written letter from the company explaining their mistake.

It's up to the bank to refund the overdraft fees. They are the only one that can do it. I had a simular case happen to me and the bank was happy to credit my account. I had no trouble at all. The company is not going to do it. So sending them emails isn't going to help matters. He needs to go to the bank and talk to the bank manager or go over the bank manager's head and keep going up the ladder.
It's a very bad idea to be sending them emails after emails over this.ummmmmmmmmmmmmComment
