I'm with radcast on this one. I think it's time some of these online dealers start owning up to mistakes, I'm sick of all of them. I would buy every thing from a local store if they were any better (they're not!!) There is a post about bad PB companies, there needs to one for bad online retailers. I'm getting screwed over by Commander Mo's right now, and was wishing I went with PB Gateway, not now! Thanks for the heads up on them. They will see my email.

Hi, I am RADS I am the one, you would say started this mess. Well upon the request of radcast2 (my Bro) I am here to defend myself and fix what I typed wrong after reading this HUGE thread.
1st thanks to goat and radcast2 for being here, to everyone who sent an email thank you for your support. radcast2 I see why they say your wrong since you kinda got what I told you and what you read a little backwards and dude we'll talk about you acting like me but thanks, and hey your phone is still busy.

Okay just needed that part not the whole thing. THe reason they havent removed the charges is becuase all they see is that account was overdrafted, and since it has been established that it was PaintBallGateways fault they are responsible for them. I am not asking anyone to agree with me but if you do well thanks, all this is, is my bad experience with PaintballGateway.com. The rudeness I experienced while talking with Joe is just flat out WRONG, so to bash there customer support is only justified. For one person to just flat out tell me I probably didnt have the money in the account in the first place well I think that is way out of line and inconsiderate. And I feel VERY comfortable saying that goat and radcast2 can verify I make very good money, not that anyone needs to know that. Well Sorry everyone and thanks for the support.
A HELPFUL HINT TO THOSE THAT USE A CHECK CARD...If you use your check card to make a purchase in the future, and the company IS going to place a reserve on the fund you need to make sure you have double the amount of the purchase, plus money to cover any other bills that you have lingering around.

Ok this makes more sense now as to why you incurred overdraft fees BUT the bank should still be the one that you go to about the fees. The company did make the mistake in charging you twice and you did have the money in the account to cover all of what you spent but not for being double charged on one transaction. I would call the bank back and talk to someone there and explain it all again to them and have them look at your account and ask them to refund the overdraft fees since you had all the money in there before the company made the mistake. Most banks will refund the overdraft fees. Good Luck.

As a side note, I would suggest each person to log into their bank online so they can monitor their account. I look at mine everyday so I can catch mistake before they bite me in the butt.

I agree with this, if my wife didnt do it the other day we would be up craps creek with no paddles and a few holes in the raft.

But my wife seem to have a way with people and I am sure we will get the overdraft charges removed. Heck she got us free pizza from Pizza Hut just becuase they didnt deliver the pizza....O did I forget to mention that was in August of 2003 and we still dont have to pay for pizza. What bank do you bank with? I've had to have transaction credited back to my account, for different reasons, and if that transaction casued me to incure overdraft fees the bank was happy to credit the overdraft fees. I would highly suggest you change banks and you talk to the BBB about this. The bank is the only ones that can credit the account for the overdraft since they are the ones that charged them. The company is not going to do. Even though I do agree that the company is "respoinsible" for causeing this mess the bank is the only one that can clear it up. Good Luck to your wife.

I do agree that the bank is the only ones who can credit us back the overdraft fees. All I see is I am out $210...I figured that PaintballGateway could place a credit to the card for $210 to cover what I lost...by doing that it would give me back the money I lost. I wouldnt mind an in-store credit but my wife does.... We use Wachovia. If they bank does credit us back the overdraft fee's I will talk to Joe and Lisa @ PaintballGateway and discuss the issue with them once again. I dont expect paintballgateway to do anything. However letting others know what they did to me is what I feel is the next best thing. I have a friend who has delt with them many times without any issues, except the wrong item sent one time but they payed for shipping back and overnighted the correct item. I am sure they have good qualities but my expereince with them has not been to minimum par. But FYI I cancelled an order with PBFanatics because part of my order was on back order and they never notified me, so that might give you an idea as to what a BUTTHOLE I can be. Just if I dont please my customers..my boss is on me and then I still have to please them...so customer service is VERY important to me. I was gonna complain that it was 2nd day air shipping and was suppose to be here Friday but hasnt been deliveried yet and wont until possible Monday but the shipping was free with the package so cant complain about that.

I fully agree to letting people know your experiences with companies, good and bad ones. Wachovia is a pretty good bank. I bank with CCB, they haven't let me down, yet. I would diffently talk with someone at paintballgateway about this. If you don't treat your customers right then they can take away a lot of business.

I recently read about a situation that is going on between your company and a fellow paintball player named Mr. Castner regarding the fact that your company overcharged his account and now refuses to pay the overdraft fee's.

As a consumer in the paintball market I will be watching diligently to see how you handle the situation and will use that information to decide on the possibility of any future purchases from your establishment.

I would also like to add that I was planning to make a purchase with your business for your sale on the 2k3 autococker, but I am a student with limited funds in my account and I am afraid if I were charged double the amount (which would be around $600) I too would be in the same boat as this current customer that is having to pay overdraft fees unjustly. It was YOUR mistake, and as a member of the paintball community I feel it should be YOUR $220 penalty, not his.

They got the order correct. It was the correct color, model and all the extra's where present......

The Bank has credited us back $240.00 in overdraft fee's, the lady at the bank says that they can credit the money back to us since it is obvious that it wasnt our fault and wasnt caused by our misuse of funds (guess she wanted to sound techy). She also told my wife that they can get the $240.00, that they feel they are entitled to for the overdrafting from PaintBallGateway. The Lady at the bank also said if they dont want to pay the bank they can place it on the companies credit report. I havent heard from PaintballGateway and they(Lisa) promised they would call back, but really dont expect them to anyway.
I will stand my ground and say that I will not do business with them again, after this, it isnt a chance I am willing to take again. IMO I feel there customer support is about a 1 out of 1000 (1 being lowest), business manor same. I still feel that they should have stepped up when they realized and were proven to have made a mistake that caused this problme, and made an effort to help resolve the situation, instead of making it worse. Thanks to everyone for there support, now I know why Goat said this place is awesome.
