    Karnivor or DM4

i've come to a decision that i will sell my mag and save up to buy a dm4 or a karni, the problem is that i don't know which one to buy.

my pros and cons of each are as follows
    dm4
    pros
    - sexy
    - really fast (as seen on vids)
    - adjustable trigger (how adjustable is it)
    cons
    - 1400 bucks
    - common (everybody has them)
    - bad gas efficiency

    karnivor
    pros
    - hot
    - i don't know how fast (can't find any vids)
    - only $1150
    - very gas efficient
    - comes with full kaner kit
    - does it have an adjustable trigger?
    cons
    - none just coming from me

has anyone shot either or both? could you give me a good review or them please and any advice would help and even better some vids of the karni, i've only seen one and they didn't really shoot it much. Please help me.
 I had a paintball gun and i knew how to use it

it's gay, even though i have a job and can make good money, my dad won't let me spend it, he told me that i don't need two guns, i told him that i would use it as a backup but he said that if the gun i would buy wasn't reliable enough that he wouldn't let me, it's a lose lose situation. but in a positive way now i can get the new gun sooner.

Well I'd imagine both are great guns, but from what I've been reading and hearing(friend has one) I'd go Dm4, well I'd do hAIR-Karta mag but you know

maybe i could keep the mag and then buy it behind his back!!! i have easy access to his credit cards i feel evil once i got it he wouldn't have any choice.

i don't understand what's soooooo much better about the dm4, so far i like the karnivor better but it would be nice to get some info about the worrblade first i hope i can shoot one somehow.

                Karny

By far Karnivor still has the accuracy that made the Cocker famouse has a 3 point adjustable trigger. It's lighter then the DM4. Not many people have them yet. The Kraner barrel is a great stock/company barrel. New valve to be even more gas efficent then before. They put the back block cocking rod inside. You adjust the pressure by the reg not the valve itself. Plus no Cocking rod either. The detail/milling on it is just WOW. I would go with the Karni.

The DM4 is hella fast but lacks on the accuracy I think. I don't think its as nice looking. I actually prefer the old style Matrix. The bolt sucks when the orings start going on it because it could be any of the 30 thats on the bolt. Or what I call a cup inside a cup. The efficency is O.k.

But if you decide to go with the Karni there are a lot of other E-cockers or to be converted to a E-cocker for a lot less with the same potential. Or you could get a old Matrix pretty cheap now a days too, that could make it as fast as the DM4.

The only reason why I would get either is if I won the lotto, sold crack, it payed the bills, keep up with the Jones or lastly a family member died and left me there inheridance.

dm4 lacks accuracy? Ok reading that makes all your other comments worthless.

first off dm4 bolt has 14 orings (pretty sure). And whats so bad about that? If it leaks, either replace it or put more grease on it! I have yet to replace a oring on my bolt and the gun has gone through numorous cases of paint.

karni - the ones I have seen in person can't seem to get rid of the bounce, and the trigger seems a little wobbly.

What can I say its my opioin and I must of had a Lemon because the bolt wouldn't stop leaking for me. And there where other things that kept going on it too. And the 30 o'ring was an Adzajoration. I'm sorry I will put a disclamer in my post next time. Your best beat is just go to a store if you can and I'm sure they'll let you shoot it.

                    I just didn't care for it I'm a cocker/mag man.

Well Skoad, it looks like we are doing this again.

Look ,the dm4 is the superior marker. Better build, and better trigger. the worrblade to me feels like a brick with a trigger

plus, the trigger sucks on it. It is adjustable, but the dm4 trigger is so much nicer. The dm4 is also easier to take care of. Set the lpr once and forget it. Also, all your problems can be solved by a grease or an oring replacement 99% of the time. THe dm4 is UBER reliable, and it is a relatively kickless design. the cocker, will kick like a mule.

magman007/skoad Your right the cocker does have a little kick due to the back block and moving parts. Also 99% of the maintenance on the DM4 is the O'rings.

But The cocker is the same way with just a little more attention. The cocker does have moving parts. If you loc-tite it downt i.e front phnematics and take the proper precautions. All you have to do is set the preasure and your good to go. Just like the DM4

To be fair the cocker has more bounce/kick when shot. But I still think it beats the DM4 on accuracy. Other than that their neck and neck. If you work the trigger on the cocker you could get it to be just like the DM4.

                          Pro's / Con's

DM4 maint - Oring's replaced / easy to work on.
Cocker maint - ? could be a couple of things / needs more attention

Yea know what The guy asked for our opion. I try'd to give an objective opion that promoted both sides. Yes I leaned to the cocker. But lets not ruin his post. It's all about prefrence. Skoad and Magman007 are die hard DM4 lovers. I like the cockers more. Hopefully you can get something out or our posts. It's about what you like not us. Everyone could love the DM4 or the Cocker and you could hate'em. Try before you buy. I say get an older modle cocker or matrix and customize it to you. DM4 and Karnivores don't really have many after market parts out yet. But when it comes down to it, its what you want....
