couldn't i just get the e2 when it comes out?

I watched the vid of the karni and it didn't look like it really kicked at all. are you sure that it has soooo much kick like you have said.

the dm4 isn't totally out of my mind, i'm still considering it but from the price, the fact that the karni comes with a barrel system, and the efficiency of the cocker i think that i would rather go with the karni. i've seen a lot of vids of the dm4 shooting really fast and the thing that could really change my mind is when i test out the worrblade, i hope i can.

is it going to kick like a 12 ga shotgun? no. but will the kick on the karni be considerably more than any trix? yes. any wiggle in the gun will eat at your accuracy, the karni (cockers in general) have significantly more recoil than the trix does. its a simple mater of inertia really, the trixes have a very small very light bolt that moves only a very short distance. that equates to very very very little kick, most people cant even notice. as far as im concerned, the chances that i would outshoot my tank are very remote, and pair that with the need that i have a very stable gun and to me the cocker is a distant second.

if you use a mag now, then efficiency should be darn near the bottom on your list of factors to choose from. the karni or the trix will get worlds better efficiency than your mag does and you seem to be getting along fine now with the mag.

I have shot both and what logamus is saying is true there is a lot more kick with a karni.

Yes, fast but still has alot of kick, well relative to the non existant dm4 kick.

I was just testing my dmfizzle in the backyard.

i'd personally go with a karni, yet i do have a con for you and that is the SINGLE REFLECTIVE eye, and i have seen SO many problems with eblades/worrblades at the field i work at. However, i just saw a karni yesterday and it was AWESOME . My friend bought a DM4 and had to send it back a Dye because of problems out of the box and never had a chance to play with it. just my 2 cents.

Sounds like your dad is a pretty smart guy.
Buying 2+ markers these days is more of a fad than a preventative measure. Sure, hard-core tournament players definitely need a back-up, but let's face it: most people are driven by consumeristic desires. They see the "pros" using two or three markers and think that, for some reason, they should buy a backup.

Of course, backups aren't really needed if you take care of your marker in the first place. In fact, most people don't really need DM4s/Karnivorrs/etc. It's just consumerism.

i understand that the dm4 is going to have less kick than the karni, but is the kick on the karni so huge that it makes you REALLY that inaccurate in your shot groupings.

I've shot both and the kick on the Karivorr was not much more than the kick on the dm4.

that pretty much makes my decision, i'm going to get the karnivor, unless when i test a worrblade (if i get the chance to) and don't like it, if that happens then i will get the dm4.

Well, here goes another age old question(well not really but oh well)

                          Karni vs DM4

Tough decision i would go with the Karni, the DM4 is sick and all but its 1400$! but its worth it, the karni is like 1150 depending on where u get it(lowest i found it) not as fast, but good performance, and it looks kool, the dm4 looks nice also but its more of a speedball gun, the karni is also, but fits better in on a rec ball feild

so i say karni, and y are all u people so worked up over him selling a mag??? if it was an xmag or a emag i would understand but 68 screw it and go with a karni
                          :shooting: Bush

                            Dm4

Well, i recently had to make this very same decision. Karni or the DM4 was the choice. I ended up going with the DM4 ... and I am so glad I did. A buddy of mine just bought the Karni and I got to shoot it at the shop. Very cool gun but I must say ... it PALES in comparisan to the DM4. DM4 is faster, smoother, the trigger rocks right out of the box. My buddy that has already played a full day with the Karni shot my gun, and immediatley grew a frown on his face. His Karni is up for sale so that he can get a DM4.

The Karni just wasnt comfortable for me. The trigger moved too much for me, wasnt all that fast (my techinique at fault here). The DM4 just felt sooooo gooooood! I really felt that I was holding a superior gun. Thats just my opinion. I am glad I made the choice that I did. As far as accuracy ... I really cringe when I here this al the time. As long as the gun your shooting is the same fps, it all comes down to paint to barrel match. NOTHING else! Take the time to find the best match for whatever barrel you shoot with, and you will have the accuracy you want.

is the karni low pressure or high pressure?

My friend just got a Karnivore a month ago and it rocks. The magnetic trigger is the best trigger I have ever used. I was ripping with his gun and I suck at shooting fast. I can barely do 10 bps on my angel. I was doin like 14 with the karni. Very good for me. The trigger has no side to side play that I noticed. Actually I liked it a lot better than the Dm4 trigger. I think I just like magnetic triggers tho. Very comfortable gun too. Kaner kit is awesome too. I was told at my local shop that the internals on the Karni are a step down for cockers tho. There is virtually no kick to either gun. Both guns rock. The DM4 has a better eye system. Tough choice. To me its.
