I'm pretty sure most cockers run at about 350 psi. But that doesnt make sense b/c my sto still shoots at 100 psi.Hey, look at that! It's Santa!

If you wanna get a cocker forget the Karni, go all out and get a half block. Check out Turtle, Martin, and Doc's Fastback. They pretty much elimanate kick by removing the vast majority of the cocking mass and at the same time make it easier for the gun to achieve higher cycle rates.

Is that 100 psi the lpr or hpr? The 350 psi that most cockers run at is the hpr output.Originally posted by WenULiVeUdiEI'm pretty sure most cockers run at about 350 psi. But that doesnt make sense b/c my sto still shoots at 100 psi.

Thats the tank's output.Originally posted by ilikePBIs that 100 psi the lpr or hpr? The 350 psi that most cockers run at is the hpr output.
Now that someone mentioned it, I'd get a Halfblock by RaceGun. Very light and a very nice trigger. NOt as adjustable as an eblade, if it all. But the eblades tend to either have a short snappy pull or a little longer, softer, "smooshier" pull. But the Race has a light, soft pull that you just gotta love.
But it comes down to personnel preference really. Try them out and see what you like the best. So what If I like the DM4's trigger, thats doesnt mean you will like it. Try and go to a shop and shoot em and ask them about the maintainence and stuff. They will probably show you what is involved exactly. Good luck in your seach for your next gun.Hey, look at that! EDIT: ^^it shows that i didnt read the hole thread
Ok, so your heart is set more on efficiency, price and what comes with the marker when purchased. There are nothing wrong with cockers, i tend to get one myself sooner or later, but i dont really like eblades, seem cheap to me. If you are going to buy a cocker, get a raced cocker. it might not come with a barrel kit, and it might be a little pricier, but a halfblocked race cocker kicks the crap out of a ebladed cocker, IMO. i know nothing about the barrel kit it comes with, it might be good, it might be crap, but you can go out and buy a freak kit for what? 150?
Right now i shoot an Alias, if you cant decide between a DM4 or a Cocker. get the alias! its an awesome marker, i highly recomend it.

DM4 will own a karni hands down.. Plus a DM4's value will never drop really low, cockers tend to go waaaaaay down.
Resale as well as support would put the DM4 over in my book. Plus I've always thought eblading cockers is like putting a 454 in a pinto. It's just too much and somethings gonna give.

little advice,
you need to make a list of features for a gun that you want to own. Then compare your list of features with the gun currently on the market. My list includes:
Beam break ace
close to a case on a 68/4500
option of milling and color styles
semi-rare
fast
good customer and customer to customer support
I bought a viking
Logamas also brings up a good point: a trix is a trix is a trix. There all the same, the sutle differences are in the ACE and effiency features. Same can be said for cockers. to be honest I would never spend that kind of cash on a cocker. If I wanted an e cocker I would buy a super stock, otherwise the only differences bewteen cockers is milling and anno.

All ebladed cockers are basically the same animal. I have never shot one that I liked, and I consider myself a cocker guy (note the username
). I am personally a fan of mech cockers (probably because the kick is more controlled at lower rofs). I've shot a Dye Matrix, two ebladed cockers and one that was raced, and there is no question in my mind that the dm4 is just an all-around better marker.
As for accuracy, I believe it to be a feel more than anything else. For instance, I have horrible accuracy with an Angel 4 and a BKO, but with a matrix I am dead-on. I attribute this not to the gun (it has been proven time and again that accuracy is the same with each gun, assuming other variables are the same). But this relates to single shot accuracy, and when you begin to fire at greater speeds many other factors can come into play.
With a mech cocker I have the same accuracy as a matrix. With an ebladed cocker I can never seem to get a ball to land on top of the other and I never liked how it felt on the field.

many of you guys have recommended a matrix with upgrades instead of a dm4, where is the best site to find custum trix's or custum parts for trix's? I had a paintball gun and i knew how to use it
