    When? WHEN?!

This has been talked about for the better part of six months. There's been little to no update on your own website (PBX). So, now that the cocker version is out, can you confirm that you WILL produce a mag version, and if so, will it happen this season? I am very excited about this.

The cocking rod is kept only to stabilize the backblock and keep it from twisting.

but like Tom said, it's not using a Mag valve??? So it's not really a Mag at all. It just has the ULE body.

                      true...
but you have to consider the ramifications of what you've just said...

it uses a ule body, which means it can use any mag body... classic, minimag, ule, and any of the custom bodies available... and of course any aftermarket rail...and any of the agd rails...barrel kits...

it's genius really...it's like having a new gun come out with a built in, pre-established aftermarket...

and if it becomes a moderate to large success(which it darn well ought to be, if marketed properly....think...a pro team that uses mq'd cockers and mags) it might even create even interest for other companies to make aftermarket stuff for the mag...

and consider that there will be more than a few that'll buy an rtpro or atleast a classic, buy the mq kit and instantly have an electro marker with a mech backup...for a price that is still less than an angel or timmy

i see a whole lot more kids buying a classic as a first gun...knowing that the upgrade path can lead to the mq

i think it'll be a win win situation for everyone

So what it doesn't have a mag valve!!! Stop the hate. PBX is making, I hope, a great mag upgrade. I'll buy one when it comes out.

                          What's in a name?

So what if it doesn't use a mag valve?

At it's core, yes, the 'mag' is different than the 'mQ-mag', but so what?

'Automag' or 'mag' is a well estblished brand name. One that could be used as a platform or base to launch new ideas and designs.

                          Take the 'Shocker' for example...

The difference between the '03 Shocker and the '02 Shocker is about as much, or even greater than any differences between the 'mag' and the 'mQ-mag' will most likey have.

So... should they have called it the 'Shocker' ? Does it really matter if the end result is a high quality product that performs as well or better than it's predecessor.

If the mQ-valve for the mag comes to fruition, and can improve upon the performance of the old x-valve (i.e. more efficient, more consistant, 30+ cps, anti-chop, etc.), then I will upgrade.

After that, guess what I'm going to refer to my gun as? yup... my "mag". ...or maybe my "Level 11 mag"

Name recognition is good... unless you lack confidence in your product.

Face it though, an mQ-ed tippy would be ridiculously interesting.

I'd take the mag over it though

will the mq mag bolt be 100% delrin or just a delrin cover?

because the mq mag is running only one solenoid wont the battery life be a lot better?

the kit for the automag will come with: eyes a bolt the valve and a trigger frame for about 400-500?

if we wanted could we buy just eyes a bolt and the valve and hook it up to a morlock to get better battery life?
